i love games like this
simple visuals, literally one-button controls, yet somehow impossible to put down
the idea is familiar: build a bridge to cross a gap
but a handful of small details make it feel completely different
the art and sound effects are stylish, and fit each other perfectly
that sound when ur leg grows is fantastic
and even the name is great
i also love that u aren't locked into reaching the next island
u can grow that leg as long as u want, as long as it lands on some solid ground
the animations are funny, and the controls feel responsive and precise
now the music is another story
it's not good at all imo, and honestly feels like it got no attention all
such a shame, because a better soundtrack would do a lot for the atmosphere
either way, this game is definitely worth checking out

plug in a pad, play. no settings, no “add controller support” prompt. if the code reads a gamepad, it gets tagged automatically
the scavenger hunt portals with a controller is a ton of fun

Difficulty of 8/10. I kept bumping into things, I misjudged the distance between my avatar and the obstacles.

making a game with one prompt is easy now. the hard part is the 40th prompt, when every new change can break something that already worked
on remix every edit is saved as its own version. blood moon didn't land? step back one version
