I love learning Thai. It's the Vue of languages: you take small words and compose them into bigger ones, like composables. fridge = ตู้เย็น = cabinet + cold gas station = ปั๊มน้ำมัน = pump + water + fat zebra = ม้าลาย = horse + stripes train = รถไฟ = car + fire subway = รถไฟฟ้าใต้ดิน = car + fire + sky + under + ground

funny where coding with AI agents takes you was making charts for some markdown docs and a few labels kept vanishing. the trail led to vega, which has been guessing every character is 0.8em wide since 2015 sent a "small PR" so it guesses per character instead github.com/vega/vega/pull/43…

been using my own mac blocker for a few months and it's the first one that stuck. every other blocker i tried, i'd just ask claude code to turn it off 😆 cactus has no off switch. set the hours once and x stays blocked until the block ends. usecactus.app

New Comark plugin: comark-carousel Every block inside ::carousel becomes a slide: images, code, prose. Slides scroll and snap with no JavaScript. The script adds arrows, dots and arrow keys, and a click zooms the slide. comark.onmax.me/carousel/

New Comark plugin: comark-zoom Click an image to zoom it. Wrap a table or code block in ::zoom and it zooms too. Give a few the same group and they open as one gallery you can page with arrow keys. Escape, Back or a click outside closes it. comark.onmax.me/zoom/

Using Nuxt? nuxt-skill-hub pulls in vue-best-practices from vuejs-ai/skills, so you get v19 automatically, alongside the Nuxt and module guidance. npx nuxi module add nuxt-skill-hub nuxt-skill.onmax.me

Not sure if I agree with this take: Evan You says that agents should use less tools such as grep. Instead agents should be using more LSP or built in analyzers. LLMs are trained exactly to read text not fancy structures that might be more optimized for humans

The main bottleneck of writing code with agents verification of work All the context gathering + writing the code is cheap

Self-hosting executor on Cloudflare cost me $373 this month 😅 - $81: every execute spins up a fresh Dynamic Worker (random ID, $0.002 each) - $285: invoice says 284M DO rows written, analytics show ~344k Pray for me and let's hope the Cloudlfare team understand 😉

Intelligence is no longer the bottleneck, it is compute Currently I am using 2 vps and a laptop, but I am getting to the limit 🙃

I wanted agents to put annotated screenshots in PRs without anyone drawing on them comark-annotate is a @comarkdown plugin for that. Write the marks in Markdown, get hand-drawn boxes, arrows and before/after pairs as static HTML. comark-annotate.onmax.me

I'd love a "human comments only" filter for GitHub PRs.

Same applies to the Agents SDK! Don't get locked in! That's why i am building ViteHub. A single API that works across Claude Code, Codex or any chinese model
Don't use this Build your own software using their tokens So when their tokens become too expensive You can switch to your own GPUs Your compute. That you control So you yourself can't be controlled You need to control your stack -- or you become enslaved

The amount of impressive and useful(?) things AI labs release is indirectly proportional to the amount of hype

Getting ready for tomorrow’s OpenAI DevDay! 🚀 Met some awesome new people today who, just like me, love to build, experiment with AI, and have fun doing it. Great conversations, exchanging ideas, and hanging out at Fort Mason right now. San Francisco has been amazing so far and more new connections tonight! @OpenAI @OpenAIDevs Can’t wait for tomorrow. 🔥 @BoldingBuilds @_onmax @ThatGuySam
