Ryan Bixler

Back to work with Ryan Bixler to prep for the River City Showcase in Evansville, Indiana this weekend. Continuing to focus on my load by keeping more of weight on my backside. Working hard to finish the fall strong! Go Mojo!!!

This past weekend we played some good competition at the Great Lakes Showcase at Grand Park. I got my first walk and strikeout for the fall. Not my best in the outfield, but did well at first base. Also caught 1 game. Got some great hits with a .417 average for the showcase.

Great hitting and throwing lessons this week! Continued to work on maintaining accuracy and velo for throwing with fatigue. Pushed myself on 30inch box jumps. For hitting I am continuing to work on load control and syncing my whole body with my swing.

Getting back on the field this season with a round robin tournament this past weekend! Starting to find my groove in the outfield, while getting some reps behind the plate. Hit .500+ in 6 games with 0 K's & no walks. Love seeing the team make improvements over the weekend!

Making sure to continue putting the work in. Tonight I saw improvement on controlling my load. Even though I saw improvement, there is still work to be done! Looking forward to our teams first tournament this weekend in Crown Point. Here we go Mojo!!!

Worked hard yesterday morning at hitting with Ryan Bixler. The focus for this week is loose hands and keeping my front side stable. Need to keep putting in the work to prep for the fall.

Back at it with my hitting instructor, Ryan. This week I worked on my patience and movement of my load. I have been rushing my load which has caused some unnecessary movement. Always something to work on as I prepare for our fall tournaments!

Continuing my weekly work with my hitting instructor, Ryan Bixler. Working on staying through the ball with a different stride. Now that I am in the off-season, I can make some bigger changes to my swing. Change is never easy, but is necessary for improvement!

This past weekend I didn't hit as well as I wanted but had some nice hits. Couple of solid line drive doubles. Hit .415 for the weekend with 0 k's. Back to work this week with my instructor Ryan Bixler to continue to build consistency.

Video of a double and a triple from this past weekend in our tournament at Kokomo. Hit .400 for the weekend with 0 K’s. Looking forward to getting better this summer with my House teammates!
