The LHSAA football playoff format that's being used now is going into its 5th football season. The biggest thing you heard people complain about before the playoff split was the lack of parity. When you look at the current breakdown of divisions and who has been successful, it really couldn't be more even. No one is dominating any one division on the select side or the non select side.

🏈 Football - Ponchatoula’s William Walker makes up half of one of the best defensive tackle duo’s in the area. Walker (6’4” 280lbs), a senior, and junior Dallas Lowe (6’ 270lbs) are poised to lead the Green Wave defense up front this season in 6-5A. In Scott Shaffett’s inaugural season at the helm, the defense looks to be stout in addition to talented playmakers on offense. Don’t be surprised to see the Green Wave in the mix as the season progresses. @_will3k @PHS_Wave_FB @LSL_Sportsline @Talkin_BallLA @RedRiverRoundup @JasonDuhe @richiemills
