दिल्ली के मुस्तफाबाद के एक इलाके में जिन 28 मतदाताओं के नाम हटाने के लिए बीजेपी के एक बूथ लेवल एजेंट (BLA) ने आवेदन दाखिल किए थे, वे सभी अपने-अपने पते पर मौजूद मिले। ये मतदाता लंबे समय से वहां रह रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि उन्होंने आपत्ति दर्ज कराने वाले व्यक्ति का नाम तक नहीं सुना है और उन्हें लगता है कि उन्हें निशाना बनाया जा रहा है। मुस्तफाबाद विधानसभा क्षेत्र के दूसरे इलाकों में भी इसी तरह के मामले सामने आए हैं। इस क्षेत्र में अब तक फॉर्म-7 के सबसे ज्यादा 843 आवेदन दाखिल किए गए हैं। इनमें से 68 फीसदी आवेदन 19 बीजेपी BLAs ने दाखिल किए हैं। ये सभी आवेदन मुस्लिम मतदाताओं के खिलाफ हैं। इन सभी फॉर्म के साथ BLA का जरूरी घोषणा-पत्र (Undertaking) जमा नहीं किया गया, जो चुनाव आयोग की ओर से तय सीमा का उल्लंघन है। जब इन 28 मतदाताओं के मामलों में आपत्ति दर्ज कराने वाले व्यक्ति से संपर्क किया गया, तो उसने पहले अपना नाम और मुस्तफाबाद का निवासी होना स्वीकार किया। लेकिन जब उससे आपत्तियों के बारे में पूछा गया, तो उसने आवेदन दाखिल करने से इनकार कर दिया। उसने कहा, "मैं न तो BLA हूं और न ही किसी राजनीतिक पार्टी से जुड़ा हूं।" उसने यह भी कहा कि उसका नाम कुछ और है। इसके बाद उसने फोन काट दिया। —@suruchiarchives पूरी जानकारी के लिए रिपोर्ट पढ़ें।👇 thehindu.com/news/cities/Del…

18-Year-Old Muslim Man Beaten to Death in Maharashtra Over Suspicion of Talking to Non-Muslim Girls Maharashtra: In Tuljapur taluka of Maharashtra’s Dharashiv district, 18-year-old Sameer Jabbar Patel and his friend Arbaz Afsar Syed were brutally beaten with belts and iron rods by a group of around 20 people on suspicion of talking to non-Muslim girls. Sameer Jabbar Patel died in the attack, while Arbaz, who sustained serious injuries, is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Former municipal council president Santosh Parmeshwar Kadam has been arrested in connection with the case, while the other accused are yet to be arrested.

Thousands of Muslim families in Assam have lost their homes due to eviction drives. The documentary 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗸𝘆 𝗔𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗱 sheds light on the human suffering, displacement and harsh conditions these families are facing.

Chaudhary Lal Singh, then a minister in Jammu and Kashmir, attended a rally organized by the Hindu Ekta Manch in 2018 in support of the accused arrested in the case of the gang rape and murder of Asifa, an eight-year-old Muslim Bakarwal girl. Addressing the rally, Lal Singh told the protesters that if they wanted to launch a movement, they should do so with full strength, or else stay at home. He also raised questions about the police investigation and took part in a 35-kilometer foot march. Now, the same Chaudhary Lal Singh is set to preside over a mushaira (poetry gathering) to be held in Bhopal, in which Congress Rajya Sabha member and poet Imran Pratapgarhi will also participate. The event is being organized today at the Central Library grounds in Bhopal on the occasion of the 96th birth anniversary of former chief minister Arjun Singh. Imran Pratapgarhi is also promoting the event.
