THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.

Thank you for this Patrick. It is amusing that emergency lovers of Nigeria think people just sprung out of absolute nothingness into the 2023 elections like most of them did. Like I always say, these people are in a world of their own. 😂😂😂😂
Let me address this misinformation.
First of all, you said nobody knew Ndi Kato prior to joining the Obidient Movement. That is false.
She was already sharing stages with Peter Obi as early as 2018 at the Kukah Centre.
In 2017, she was Publicity Secretary to the Middle Belt Forum nationally.
She was speaking at PDPs national retreat in 2021. And if I remember, Peter Obi moved to the Labour Party in May 2022.
In that retreat, she spoke alongside Atiku, Tambuwal and Seyi Makinde
I have evidence of her in gatherings as far back as 2016 with the President of Ghana
Mind you, she was debating Nasir Elrufai who was the Governor of Kaduna State at the time on Aljazeera as a panelist in 2017!
You can disagree with her without trying to rubbish her person
Now regarding Zariyi Yusuf, while you are partially right that he was not as known, he put this blood sweat and tears on the line for the movement
I know how many times his cars engine knocked while on obidient business
Many of the people insulting @ZariyiYusufu were in their beds, sleeping peacefully after the 2023 elections
He was the one who led the march outside for LP in the FCT.
Infact two Middle Belt persons Dr Mo and Zariyi Yusuf.
Today he’s being denigrated inhumanely.
Most of those using burner accounts to insult him have not been cautioned by you. You have allowed the abuse he suffered
You are only reacting to his “reaction to that abuse” which is the most evil form of gaslighting
Many of you could not even come outside to fight for what u believed in after the 2023 elections
Today you stay on your phones in your houses making videos and insulting the person who did that.
Sometimes, when someone works hard for you and you part ways with them, appreciate them for the time they served with you and move on.
You don’t have to agree with their choices. You can disagree and give your reasons and move on. What do insults online achieve?
Now before you revise history on what happened.
At that time,we began seeing photos of Peter Obi and Nasir Elrufai while he was in LP.
And Middle Belt people on X began expressing concerns about it. Rather than address it, many of your influencers began smear campaigns
“Dem gon pay them”
“ Na gig”
It was all so coordinated that almost everyone was singing it simultaneously.
Your reaction to address concerns is to smear them and tarnish our image.
That’s how you fight for a new country
Ndi Kato has never said she supported APC.
She has for the longest time said she would remain neutral, yet has been hounded with insults
You look for posts where she is responding to your people insulting her where she said they will lose and posted
Why not post the dehumanizing post she was responding to for full context?
I have never understood this strategy of daring people to join APC or assigning APC in everyone
How does that help you win at the polls?
You said “Middle Belt influencers” when to my knowledge, only one person joined the APC
Aren’t you generalizing?
If you leave her be and focus on your campaigns, she will let you be too
This idea that insults will make her maintain decorum doesn’t work
You pummel someone with insults and except the person to take the higher ground
It doesn’t work that way
Now thereason why many Middle Belt people took a step back was because it proved that the Obidient movement was a sectional movement the moment it saw the huge disgust the Middle Belt had for Elrufai but put its interests above that
It meant we didn’t mean much. It also showed contradictions with ideology.
I had thought the aim was eliminating structure of criminality but the move showed a willingness to embrace that structure in the ADC
I will say this, you don’t beat someone and dictate how they cry. Everyone cries as they see fit
In the end, elections are 3 months away. Make videos selling your candidate and let Middle Belt people be.

I did online transfer of voters registration
I haven't gotten my card yet because I don't know where in hell the card is or which LGA to go
Hmmm, I believe it should be picked up from the new local government, and most likely it will be there already. I remember moving mine also within Lagos here and I picked it up at the new local government… can’t really remember the entire process but that part i’m sure of.
Please find the INEC office for the new local government and check with them.

They Silenced the Man Who Preached Peace: Who Killed Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka?
Yesterday, on the evening of Monday, October 26, 2026, two gunmen on a motorcycle stopped at the gate of Sheikh Yahaya Ibrahim Masussuka's home in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State. They opened fire. Within minutes, one of Northern Nigeria's most talked-about Islamic voices was dead, and so was his friend, Adamu Abubakar.
This was not a random robbery. It was a targeted killing at a man's doorstep.
A preacher who refused to conform
Masussuka was controversial, and he knew it. He was widely associated with the Qur'aniyyun movement, which argues for returning to the Qur'an as the primary source of faith. That position put him at odds with powerful clerical establishments, Salafi and Sufi alike. His critics called his teachings deviant. His followers called him courageous.
Whatever you think of his theology, he fought with words, and he deserved to be answered with words.
The warnings were public.
This death did not come out of nowhere. Earlier this year, the Katsina State Government summoned Masussuka before a panel of Ulama over complaints about his preaching. In the same statement, the government acknowledged his counter-complaint that members of Jama'atu Izalatil Bid'a, the Izala movement, had insulted him and threatened to attack him. The Emir of Katsina convened a meeting and warned all sides against provocative sermons. The government itself admitted the tension continued.
Amnesty International says he lived under threats and intimidation his entire life.
So the question is not whether he was in danger. The state knew he was in danger. The question is what anyone did about it.
He died preparing for peace
When he was killed, Masussuka was preparing for a peace and unity gathering planned for October 31. A man organising a peace event was shot at his gate. Let that sink in.
We do not yet know who pulled the trigger or who sent them. The police say they are investigating. That is not enough. We demand that:
-The investigation examine every documented threat made against him, including those he reported to the state government.
-The findings be made public, whoever they implicate.
-The Katsina State Government explain what protection, if any, followed his complaint.
The bigger danger
Northern Nigeria has seen this pattern before. Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam was gunned down in a Kano mosque in 2007. When theological disagreement turns into bullets, no scholar of any school is safe, and every Nigerian loses the right to think differently.
The answer to a sermon must never be a gun. Justice for Sheikh Masussuka.
Can Arewa be saved? Can Arewa ever know peace?
Izala sect is the root of many evil in Northern Nigeria.

When a Gambian Housing development company began building an estate in Rivers state several years ago it found so big a scarcity of basic masonry, tiling and plumbing skills that it made a strategic decision to source skills from the Senegambia region. The firm moved 600 people from Senegal over land to Nigeria, The strategy paid off for Taj Africa Global. The education policy agenda of the NDC, Obi and Kwankwaso and the Big Tent look to overcome that skills gap which is a direct threat to the manufacturing we desire for job creation .
Very low quality human being.
Please Nigerians 🇳🇬 are not like this, I don't know where you fell off from.
I do this whenever I travel by air. I’ll familiarise myself with whoever I’m sitting next to, collect their number, and ask if someone is picking them up or if they’re ordering a ride.
Once I hear “I’m ordering a ride,” congratulations, you’ve just become my airport taxi. 😂
I’ll discreetly use my phone to snap the car plate number and send it, alongside the person’s details, to my DSS friend in case anything happens.
Once you drop me, na block straight 🫣😂
Abeg, those airport taxi fares are not beans jare😂

Oh, really? Was the French Revolution, which overthrew the monarchy, sent thousands to the guillotine, and laid the foundations of modern French republicanism, imported by people from the so-called Third World?
France has a long history of violent uprisings, born from profound inequalities and the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of a privileged few.
The intellectual dishonesty of blaming immigrants for social unrest while ignoring the economic and political conditions that produce it is appalling.
History deserves better than this disgraceful political opportunism.
Western liberals imported the third world into France and other countries in the name of diversity and compassion. They ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility. They were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen.
I pray that France, a beautiful country of amazing people, will stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn.
And I hope Americans are paying attention. This is the future congressional Democrats seek for your country.
I hardly see Ghanaian 🇬🇭 artist with this kind of opportunities.
Why though?
Nigerians should carry them along though, after all we are brothers.

After the departure of the index ebola patient in Nigeria.
Nigeria has been declared Ebola free for now.
Earlier this morning, the Ebola patient in Nigeria and her contact, who is also her husband, were medically evacuated to Switzerland.
The reasons for the evacuation are:
✅ Both the patient and her husband are Swiss citizens.
✅ The patient is clinically stable. The Nigerian medical team successfully managed her through the acute phase of the illness and stabilized her condition.
On behalf of WHO and all partners, I warmly congratulate the Government of Nigeria, health workers, clinicians, emergency responders and all those involved in the response. This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to what Africa can accomplish when we work together.
With the evacuation of the patient and her husband, Nigeria currently has no Ebola cases.
However, vigilance remains critical. Nigeria will continue the close follow-up of 52 contacts, while Switzerland will assume responsibility for the continued management of the patient and the follow-up of contact number 53, her husband.
Congratulations once again to everyone involved. This is a proud moment demonstrating African expertise, resilience, and leadership in public health.

No entanto, é fundamental manter a vigilância.
