"Schreiben ist wie das Gehen auf einem Drahtseil. Man blickt nicht nach unten. Man möchte eigentlich gar nicht wissen, wie man es macht, weil man sonst die Balance verliert." - Lesung mit Judith Hermann im Rahmen des #Lesarten-Festivals in der #HAAB Weimar. #klassikstiftung

Of course that's your contention. You're a first-year menswear forum poster. You just got finished reading a classic menswear book—Alan Flusser probably—and you're convinced that the flattering effects of tailoring rendered in moderate proportions create the most enduring style.

Unsere Antwort: Ja! 🗡️ buff.ly/40FDbVz #Bauernkrieg500 #LMWBlog

Much as I admire @AndrewMarr9, calling Liz Truss ‘our version of the Winter Queen’ is unalloyed, misogynistic nonsense. #ElizabethStuart had intelligence, wit, bravery, charisma, loyal supporters, and ruled Bohemia for as long as Alec Douglas-Home, ‘the winter PM’, was in No.10.
Love the mention of Elizabeth Stuart (born in Fife) by @AndrewMarr9 in this podcast but to compare her time as Queen of Bohemia as similar to Liz Truss is a disservice to this remarkable woman. Turning to the world expert @misswalsingham 👇👇👇 bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0db42…

The Weird Sisters from Macbeth are patently absurd, there's no way it could be so easy for three adults to find a time for a meeting that works for everyone.

OTD 1553 Queen Jane Grey was deposed. Documents formerly signed ‘Jane the Queen’ were changed to ‘Jana non Regina’ (Jane not the Queen). This warrant to Andrew Dudley in New College, Oxford, shows something similar. Taken during my research trip in 2015. #CrownofBlood @OMaraBooks
