Piergianni since Northampton (a) last season
The ball in from Broggio 🀝 The precision from Piergianni! The goal that sent us through to Round 2. 🀩

If you've seen the footage of their red cards, then this decision is... interesting
The appeals against the red cards issued to Kai Payne and Kane Drummond have been unsuccessful. Both players will now be suspended for the matches against Northampton, Sheffield Wednesday and Shrewsbury. #oafc

Errors for their goals aside, it shows a lot of character to come from behind twice and avoid defeat. Would've taken this result before kick off.

Given we have both right backs, Freestone, Kemp, and Roberts all out injured as well, this is a great point. Even if recent results have been inconsistent, we've got a seriously good squad here.

How hard do you reckon it was for the cameraman to keep a straight face whilst all of that was going on 😭😭

The whole Dowman discourse is absolutely mental btw. He's a young kid who overreacted to a tackle and got sent off. He'll learn from it. It's not that deep.

Absolutely buzzing for him. Fully deserved to win it.
HARRY KANE IS THE NEW BALLON D'OR! #ballondor

In Stevenage, they believe Josh Magennis has won the Ballon d'Or.
🚨 π—–π—’π—‘π—™π—œπ—₯π— π—˜π——: In Madrid, they believe Kylian MbappΓ© has won the Ballon d'Or. In Barcelona, they believe Lamine Yamal has won the Ballon d'Or. In Munich, they believe Harry Kane has won the Ballon d'Or.

I know this seems a bit cowardly, but given both our right backs are injured, a back five might be needed for now. TVC at RB in a back four away at Leicester would be suicide. If it means putting someone like Phoenix at RWB then so be it.

EFL refs be normal challenge (impossible)
I can’t believe this isn’t a penalty. #pnefc

We're our own worst enemy in games like this, and we always drop points as a result. The opposition don't beat us, we beat ourselves. Too many bad decisions all over the pitch.

Victim of his own success. Should've at least been given this season to try and keep them up. Screams of the board wetting themselves after realising just how tough League 1 is.

Magennis currently 3rd for big chances created behind two of the best players in the league. Really impressive.

Also really funny because what do you mean a 36-year-old journeyman is there with some of the most creative players in the league?

About as complete a performance as you can get. The most pleasing thing was we kept on attacking at 2-0 and didn't just try to defend what we had (even if Plymouth had a spell at the start of the second half). The standard has been set now, have to follow this up on Saturday.
A simply lovely Tuesday evening. 😁
