Dear Mukeshbhai, Kemmcho? Majaama? Congratulations on the pre-wedding of your son. God bless, they’re such a lovely couple! Mukeshbhai, as a schoolmate, I’m taking the liberty to write to you, asking for a favour: Can you please have the forthcoming wedding of your son at Andheri West, Mumbai? Even if you can accommodate one small function here, it will make a world or difference to us. There’s a reason for this. In 2018 the one bridge connecting Andheri West to East collapsed. Since then, we’ve been literally cut off from the rest of Mumbai. A few days back the bridge was finally opened. But kya bolu bhai? It ends in mid-air! (Pic enclosed for your reference) This means, our torture will continue indefinitely. For some reasons all roads in Andheri West are dug up, which means we are all forced to WFR(road). Complaining is of little use. Now Mukeshbhai, aap toh desh ke Raja hai. For the pre-wedding itself, Jamnagar became an international airport for 10 days, the Indian Air Force gave up its sensitive technical area for your guests. Atal bridge was made for a smooth transfer from your home in Mumbai to your new airport! If you can have one small function here in Andheri West, this bridge will get done and Andheri will become Amsterdam in a matter of a few hours! Can’t you do this much for an old schoolmate bhai? Aur baki… Venky
