DO NOT use Claude for your personal finance, I'm begging you As someone that studied Economics and worked at JPMorgan / fintech startups these are my 2 cents: 1st and most important! SECURITY I know it's read-only BUT I still wouldn't connect my bank accounts. It's some of the most private information u have. (speculating on this one of course but, once a company knows your income, it's very tempting to use it. So they will use your data, "but Dante, the terms say they won't." sure, and if they ever do, they'll pay a fine like every big company does) It sounds nice to have everything connected in one place, but if that has a problem, everything is exposed. Security is always the most important, do not be lazy please. If u want AI for this, look at a model that runs locally or a service built only for finance. 2nd I've used ChatGPT and Claude every day for a long time. I have LLCs, I make cashflows, test financial models, I worked with accountants in different countries, and more. Models are getting better, but they ALWAYS forget some number, and then guess who's f*cked, you my friend. A wrong number in month 1 of a cashflow ends up in every month after it. A wrong number on a tax form is worse. If u own a US LLC from abroad and miss one form, the IRS penalty is $25,000, and it can grow. Other governments have their own fines. u pay it or it stays with u as debt, and fixing it later is way harder than getting it right the first time. 3rd Personal finance is very important but you have to learn it, not depend on an AI to do it. 4th Trust but VERIFY, if you wanna use it to make your workflow faster, do it. But check it, every time against the real statement. Do your manual cashflow, a list of costs, and then double check it with the AI results. Final thoughts, I use AI in everything I am not saying not to use it for finance, just be careful and double check everything. Also we are moving to speciliazed LLM's so I think it will still be better as you use an Image / Video model, there will be options specializing in finance like cfosilvia.com/ or for legal like harvey.ai/legal. Disclaimer: haven't use neither of these services so can't vouch it's just an example of what I'm saying. Sorry for the long post but I think these are the kind of conversations we need to have moving forward as AI companies keep pushing their boundaries and getting into more products and services. Let me know your thoughts

Let me tell you a story about how unethical Anthropic is. In April, the Anthropic team began heavily courting our engineering team to tell them corporate secrets, technical details, and future plans for @cfosilvia. They pretended their interest was due to our exploding popularity and accelerating compute usage, but it quickly became apparent that Anthropic was fishing for details on how we built our product and why it was so popular. This included the Anthropic team trying to wine-and-dine our engineers, including a infamous steak dinner where someone told our team "don't worry about it, this is on Dario." Our team was not born yesterday, so we quickly realized what was happening and refused to share sensitive information and technical details with the Anthropic team. As we suspected, Anthropic was trying to get information from us, so they could build a competing product. Some people on their team must have a guilty conscious because they messaged us a few days ago to give us "a heads-up" that they were launching a competing product. Thankfully, the Silvia engineering team has been aggressively working to get off the frontier models for the last ~ 6 months. That effort has been highly successful, because our compute costs are ~ 97% lower when we use our own model & hardware, the latency is lower, and the accuracy of answers materially increases as well. The sad thing for Anthropic is they have now released an inferior product and they had to sell their soul to do it. The only thing worse than being a trillion-dollar company that can't beat a 10-person team is being a trillion-dollar company that no one trusts and everyone knows is unethical. Serious investors continue to choose @cfosilvia over ChatGPT, Claude, and other frontier companies because these products are not optimized to solve the actual user problem. Today, Anthropic launched a Claude wrapper that is masquerading as a personal finance product. Best of luck to them. But I will take the Silvia misfits vs the Anthropic losers any day of the week. if you want to support people trying to do things the right way, and help investors be more informed, then consider signing up for Silvia today: silvia.com

On today's stock market crash: As an investor, on days like today, you have to ask yourself one question: What fundamentally changed over the last 24 hours? The shift in the fundamental backdrop cannot be attributed solely to the Midterm Election results; markets had already largely priced in the outcome. So, what changed between yesterday and today? What is the fundamental reason for today's decline? One of the most likely catalysts is growing concern about a potential "ban" on AI, or at the very least, severe regulation of the industry. Over the last 24 hours, Democratic lawmakers have publicly called for restrictions on advanced AI development, including an outright "ban on artificial superintelligence." Frankly, an outright ban will not happen. Such a ban, if even possible to enforce, would effectively mean the US surrendering its position in the global AI race to China. Does this mean AI is "over" or today's stock market crash marks "the end?" Absolutely not. Rather, we believe we are witnessing a sudden shift in sentiment colliding with excessive levels of leverage, potentially triggering forced liquidations by several major institutional investors. Therefore, today's downturn is more technical than fundamental. This is not to discount the concerns around regulation, they are legitimate. But price action right now does not look orderly or rational. We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in human history. Zoom out and remain calm.

The bug is like a joke. On Alpine Linux, type 257 to 1024 characters of anything and you get root. 💀
‼️ BREAKING: OpenSSH has rushed out a fix for a critical flaw that lets attackers log into some Linux servers without the right password. The team learned of the bug a day earlier. OpenSSH's Damien Miller says long embargoes now mostly help attackers, because AI agents rediscover bugs, sometimes within hours. It hits Linux systems on the musl C library with PAM off, such as Alpine Linux. Miller told admins to disable password logins or SSH itself "IMMEDIATELY". Version 10.6p2 works around it. Systems on glibc or PAM are not affected, and Miller says the root cause sits outside OpenSSH.

Canada has just 7 days left to prevent Ovechkin—a supporter of murderers, terrorists, and criminals—from appearing publicly on its soil (on @NHL ice) and promoting Russia’s imperialist war. Are 🇨🇦 lawmakers indifferent to the fact that this promotion will cost many human lives?

I've been investigating the spy implants in Ledger, but did you know I do a lot more stuff? If you have crypto stuck on a dead phone/computer, lost password, hardware wallet, etc, get in touch (DM on X, email, etc). Issues with the MtGox bankruptcy? I can help too.

End of an era. Forever grateful to everyone who worked on Messari over the past 8 years for building such a fantastic data platform. We'll steward it well.
After acquiring Messari, the unification is now complete at app.blockworks.com As of today, messari.io redirects to Blockworks Intel, with Messari and Blockworks data and research all in one app. Screen the whole market, underwrite what you find, and get alerted when something material changes, all under one login. The Messari API keeps running, and your key already works on the Blockworks Unified API, where all new features ship: docs.blockworks.com

The Bitcoin "community" is affinity-based, NOT merit-based. If you are new here, this is very important to understand. Your ideas and rationale are not welcome if they conflict with fame, hype, or trend signals. If you are not here to make Bitcoiners passively rich in some way, you are not interesting to them. Your success is correlated to your power and influence, not your creativity. If you lack power, then you must display loyalty to it, or be ignored, or even cancelled in some cases. This is what we built. Are you proud? I am not, because we built a culture that selects by form, not function. All while riding the highest horse we could imagine. I am embarrassed by what we have become. Aren't you?

Digital ID was cancelled, but the infrastructure wasn't. Our CEO investigates what's still being built, the risks to privacy and whether the government can be held accountable.
Did Britain really scrap digital ID? The infrastructure is expanding and most people have no idea how far it's already gone. Read my article in Forbes featuring @Togetherdec @OpenRightsGroup @BigBrotherWatch forbes.com/sites/digital-ass…

First YouTube Video uploaded! One year after I left my old life, ₿itCoffee is real! It was just a vision for a long time. I didn’t know when or where it would happen. The headquarters is located in one of the fastest growing cities and it is also very close to nature, right across from a park being built in front of my door. In the video I walk through ₿itCoffee and the area and talk about how it came together. Every money I ever make from X, YouTube, TikTok or anywhere else goes straight back into ₿itCoffee to make it greater and also want to build more of them! Like it and share it. This is just the beginning. WE ARE ALL SATOSHI youtu.be/uLHHnKM0cAM?si=2VlD… #Bitcoin #BitCoffee #DaNang
