Magic door success at Arka Gdynia ⚽️🇵🇱 Big fan of the bus stop designed as a goal outside the ground! Gdynia itself not a patch on Gdańsk but worth a jolly up on the train. Also stopped at Sopot on the way back and that’s a whole different vibe, need to go back in the summer

Lechia Gdańsk 2-1 Arka Gdynia ⚽️🇵🇱 I’ve been to hundreds of football matches all over Europe but I’ve NEVER experienced anything quite like that. Multiple tifos in both ends, constant pyro, various stoppages for smoke. The choreography was mind blowing. I won’t ever forget it

Sunday in 🇫🇮 Went on a boat trip around the Helsinki Archipelago, coffee + pastry, sunshine all day, and saw the ferry I arrived on two days ago

Saturday in Finland’s capital ☀️🇫🇮 yes I went for a run, and it felt fucking good after the shite on offer at Pittodrie 🙄 Late flight tonight back to Stansted then the trek back up north tomorrow morning

Helsinki 🇫🇮 A fine afternoon and evening on arrival in Finland yesterday. A different vibe to Tallinn but Scandinavia always hits the spot. I stopped here briefly in 2019 on my way to Rovaniemi for the Aberdeen game so it’s nice to get a full weekend to explore it properly!

Tallinn to Helsinki 🇫🇮⛴️ I came to scope out the ferry terminal yesterday and it was all very smooth getting on. Check in on arrival via self service kiosk and it’ll give you a ticket to scan for boarding. Paid about £18 booked just over 5 weeks ago. It’s a 2.5 hour crossing!

Tallinn 🇪🇪 Having been to Riga twice and Vilnius before this completes the Baltic capitals, a really cool part of Europe imo. Such a beautiful place and got lucky with the weather yesterday before grey skies and rain today. It only cost me £60 all in to get here from Liverpool

I’m finally escaping the UK again after 8 weeks, my 10th trip of the year! Liverpool > London > Tallinn > Helsinki Back at home on Monday, big week ahead 😎🇪🇪🇫🇮
