Everyone’s been complaining that GPT-6 Astra eats token limits too fast, I had great results. Using a Plus subscription, I assigned it a medium-level project. It completed the task perfectly and consumed only 1% of my weekly usage limit.

Dario Amodei just explained how an AI lab making $800 BILLION in revenue could still go bankrupt overnight Almost nobody outside frontier labs understands this spreadsheet trap 1. Anthropic's revenue has grown 10x every single year • 2023: $0 to $100M • 2024: $100M to $1B • 2025: $1B to $10B 2. Data centers take 1–2 years to reserve and build. So to plan for late 2027, an AI CEO has to lock in compute commitments today 3. If you extrapolate 10x growth ($100B in 2026 -> $1T in 2027), you have to sign a 5-year compute deal for $1 TRILLION per year ($5T total) 4. If AGI adoption is delayed by just 12 months, or your revenue grows 5x instead of 10x, you are still on the hook for $1T/year in fixed compute obligations As Dario puts it "If my revenue is not a trillion dollars if it's even $800 billion there is no force on earth, no hedge on earth that could stop me from going bankrupt" Look at his last 15 seconds here "I get the impression that some of the other companies have not written down the spreadsheet... they're just doing $100B here, $100B there because it sounds cool" Who is making the smarter bet Dario playing spreadsheet math, or Sam Altman going all in on multi hundred billion compute deals?

average founders • build 1% founders • kill their ego • talk to users • sell before it’s built • build only what people pay for • shamelessly market

strong consumer product background let’s see where @X goes from here
I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product. I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary. X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful. We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

daamn, this is insane most voice AIs feel robotic because they transcribe your voice to text, run an LLM, and read it back this is dessa (built by a small lab at Block reporting to Jack Dorsey) trained from scratch on 100% raw human speech (zero text, no pretrained LLM) full duplex: listens and talks at the same time trained on just one NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 runs locally on an M4 Max MacBook
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

i'm afraid if it's true, the openai story could repeat itself, but this time with anthropic
👀 Thariq Shihipar (@trq212) has left Anthropic.

i don’t know why people still use "ai wrapper" like it’s an insult cursor: acquired by spacex for $60B lovable: $13.3B valuation higgsfield: $5.4B valuation all three lean on models from other labs

We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.
