the structure of music communities is spheres of friendship and experience either loosely connected to musical relationships (parasociality & influence) or tightly connected (direct influencers/producers of influence).
hierarchy within music communities are only categorized-
environment, and an external motive will not exist if power does not exist. TLDR; music discourse is useless and if we all did what we wanted and separated a capitalistic desire from artistic motives we would be a lot happier.
if music communities werent so private and we were able to be more genuine about our intentions within making music and discussing it we would have none of the problems we do have on a weekly basis its a constant cycle of bullying and hiding
