I'm basically on my way out also. I won't be missed, I don't have a lot of followers.
I am willing to risk the displeasure of COVID deniers, science skeptics, or those idiots over at #deznat. But I don't need @GovCox or @StewartforUtah calling my place of work. #utpol
I mean really, come at me right wing malcontents, try to drum up enough outrage at what I've said to get something done. You can't do it, but "a high ranking Utah state official" can do what you can't with a single phone call.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

I respect that guy a ton. He is always thoughtful. He simply wants his family safe from covid. He criticizes covid policy because he has a family that’s at risk. He is a good father. Whoever did this to him is not a very good person.
Utah officials just doxxed an influential progressive twitter account and is forcing them to shut down by putting pressuring on his employer.
When cancellation comes from concerned civilians, it's one thing, but when it comes from autocratic politicians - that's chilling. #utpol

Just let that marinate for a minute.

I'm not participating in person this time, since the county isn't enforcing its own mask order inside its own building. But you can watch online with me by following this link: tinyurl.com/yftpwpzm

I'll tell you something, I used to wear masks before 2020. I had a stack of N95s for construction. You are an idiot.

I have this strong urge to start compiling a list of #COVIDIOT, not just any covidiot, but those who were/are in power and their irresponsible action has a direct impact on many people's wellbeing. Let's start with this one, the most impactful covidiot that rules them all:

I'd like to build a coalition of individuals in Salt Lake County that are PRO ending Covid. I don't care what other stances you have. Be a Democrat. Be a Republican. I don't care.
If you want to run and are anti-Covid, let's chat.

Thanks @llstringham and @AWinderNewton your wise and correct decision to support @DrAngelaCDunn and @SLCoMayor in the temporary order for respirator use to get us through these terrible few weeks. The opponents are noisy, but a small minority.Good for you for standing up to them

When Gov. Cox talks about how he values front-line health care workers, remember:
He could have done literally nothing and overburdened hospitals would have benefitted from masking.
Instead he did something that can only make the situation worse.
It makes no sense. #utpol

ALT White text on a blue background reads: “Under current state law, counties can issue health orders for their individual counties. We support Mayor Wilson in this regard and we encourage people in counties where a mask mandate has been issued to comply with that health order. However, counties do not have the authority to bind the state and, as such, a county order does not apply to state buildings. We stand by our earlier guidance to state employees to encourage but not require masks in state facilities, and we continue to urge all Utahns to be vaccinated and boosted."
. @GovCox is trying to fight the mask mandates. Apologists that claimed "his power was revoked by the state legislature thus nothing is his fault" have to mea culpa right now and admit despite the posturing he is rabidly against masking. This is what actual extremism looks like.
This you @GovCox @SpencerJCox?

This tidal wave will grow much bigger.
Why?
-We are without a culture of protecting one another
-with a virus that spreads more quickly than can be detected,
-& where prior immunity doesn’t protect against infection
How high? 11/
"[...] a modeling study from the United Kingdom found that "after the 5th day after a positive test, an estimated 31 percent of persons remain infectious."
So the CDC knew people were still infectious after a 5 day isolation and shortened it from 10 days anyway.

I know, I'm so extreme aren't I? I should stop over reacting.
Days from Christmas, but my mind isn't on festivities. It's on the shrinking days before I have to send my children to school. It will be at the height of the Omicron wave. Most of their peers won't be masked or vaxed. You are trash, Utah. #nolivesmatter

Let me make my position clear, in case it wasn't. When the vast vast bulk of the medical community agrees NIH did not fund gain of function research in China per definitions set by USHHS, but 5 politicians and a chorus of clowns on twitter disagree, I don't care.
