In 2020, I decided that I would opt out of systems where I as a #LGTBQ #AsianAmerican inherently and systemically am disadvantaged. It's time I reward myself instead of fighting an impossible fight where statistically, I will never gain from or be acknowledged for my work.

We must protect our children from politicians.
it's the ultimate white flex to say that your race is your advantage. #blm #StopAsianHate

When will @facebookapp moderation algorithms be able to catch casual #racism? Because white moderators certainly don't.
I invested in materials for this season based on my steady trajectory of growth, which I believe now may be disrupted by not having the Star Seller badge. I obviously can't prove it and it's still early, but I am definitely worried that I'll be taking a hit this season.
I'm excited for everyone to see the Man Burn in @AltspaceVR tonight. I'm honored to be the one bringing this experience to life for so many burners and non-burners alike in VR this year. @BRCvr @burningman #madewithunity @unity3d

why are people surprised that the #Olympics are problematic?
I love it when white people talk about racism like it isnโ€™t their problem.
I never knew the pain that comes with silence (especially friends) until the last few weeks. Now when I see another Asian calling out racism and microaggressions, I DM them to say that they are seen and that I share their frustrations. #StopAAPIHate #StopAsianHateCrimes

#AsianAmericans are so often faced with literal silence when we speak out against racism. Bystanders, watching. Silence tells me that my experiences are too foreign to be relatable, and too foreign to deserve your empathy and outrage. #SilenceIsNotAnOption

when a package arrives like this, I canโ€™t help but wonder whether itโ€™s because an Asian last name was on the box. @Walmart @FedEx

I'm abbreviating my last name on packages from now on.
Race and identity are not inherently "political," and those who "don't get into politics" are not exempt from addressing and acknowledging racism. In fact, it is "politics" that is needed to address the silence. #StopAsianHate #StopAsianHateCrimes #StopAPIHate

I think the safety I've enjoyed as an Asian American has historically come from being invisible and innocuous. With visibility, so too comes racism and hate. #StopAAPIHate #StopAsianHateCrimes
