Morning everyone I hope you are well. As usual for a Monday a bit of brightness to start the week, with sunrise over the Langdale Valley as the mist clears. Have a great day. #LakeDistrict

A big splash of colour at Tresta, Shetland this morning with this beautiful first-winter Golden Oriole offering lovely views as it fed high up in the canopy. Golden 'O's are scarce migrants to Shetland with the vast majority of records in spring and only a handful of records in October.

Golden Wednesday. That was quite an unexpected end to my morning walk. After going up Glastonbury Tor in torrential rain, I was on my way home and the sky cleared in seconds!

Lovey to watch this BASKING SHARK - the second largest species of shark in the World - off St. Ninian's Isle, Shetland yesterday evening. Estimated to be around 6 metres in length using Fulmar wingspans in pics and video as measuring aids!
