We've officially launched our first electric double deck buses!
The six new Wrightbus StreetDeck Electroliners were unveiled yesterday at a special event at Sneinton Market Square and will soon enter service on the Lilac 27 to Carlton.
The launch was attended by the @MayorEastMids whose £4.5m investment through the @EastMidsCCA has supported the introduction of the new buses.

There will be no tram services on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October 2026 due to industrial action.
We will be operating our existing timetables across our full network.

We will be operating our existing timetables across our full network this weekend, and we will be operating double decks on Navy 48/A to Clifton on both days to provide additional capacity on this service.
Several services will be affected by the Marathon on Sunday morning.
Tram tickets are not being accepted on our buses during the industrial action.

Since 1 August 2026, NCT has been operating hopper, the @UniofNottingham campus-to-campus bus service.
With the new academic year now underway, hopper is back to its full term-time timetable, helping students and staff travel easily between the University’s campuses.
