We joined conservationists for the #RunForBirds2026 organised by @acus_uganda. This year's run highlighted the plight of our national bird, the Grey Crowned Crane threatened by the destruction of their habitat. Birds are a major symbol of our heritage.

Why I run for birds over the weekend @SheratonKampala gardens ?
Because Uganda’s birds are not just a sight to behold but a part of the ecosystem that sustains life, from pollination and seed dispersal to natural pest control.
Hands up for @acus_uganda
