Our paper is now out in J. Chem. Phys. doi.org/10.1063/5.0291163. Using Brownian dynamics, we show that a self-avoiding polymer crosses a 2D barrier via a kink/soliton-like mechanism — even with activity on the trans side.
Please find our latest publication in JPCB, unraveling how dynamic coupling and disorder drive LHCII aggregation under different pH conditions in plant thylakoid membranes # Photosynthesis # Protein Dynamics # GōMartini 3 Simulations pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.102…
Excited to invite you to the next talk in the Chemistry Webinar Series @ IIT Jodhpur!

Students who cleared CSIR recently and are interested in Computer Programming and Membrane Protein Biophysics, can apply here iitj.ac.in/academics/misc.ph…. The application deadline has been extended till 25th Oct 2025.
Explore how dynamical heterogeneity emerges in the non-lamellar phase of plant thylakoid membranes through fused topology. Our method identifies the critical correlation length of the chlorophyll-a and lipids for the structural transition of thylakoids. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
On my last working day at Ruhr University Bochum. The substantial commitment of the university to solvation science is truely inspiring. The friendship and support extended by @Jmondal_tifrh and Wasim during my time here have been deeply appreciated!
Check out our latest publication on molecular mechanism of DMSO-induced fluidity of the membrane at supercooled temperature relevant for cell banking in the future. Sahu, S., Dutta, P. & Debnath, A. Eur. Phys. J. Spec. Top. (2024). doi.org/10.1140/epjs/s11734-…
