A public Dijkstra testnet is now available! SPOs can begin onboarding using Node 11.1.3 on pv11. Epochs are 1-day in length.
Timeline:
- Protocol version 11 (Conway) on node 11.1.3
- Node 11.2 Pre-Release
- Hard Fork Initiation action
- Hard fork for protocol version 12 (Dijkstra) using node 11.2
- Integration and testing against the Dijkstra feature set (minus Leios)

Earlier this year, the SEC classified $ADA as a digital commodity, not a security.
However, this classification only appears in the explanation of the new crypto rules, not in the rules themselves.
Six blockchain organizations have asked the SEC to write it into the rules. We co-signed the letter, alongside @StellarOrg, @Hedera, @AptosLabs, @AvaLabs and @Chainlink.

Leios is coming to Cardano with the Dijkstra hard fork.
The goal? More room for transactions as network demand grows.
The rollout will happen in stages, starting at 3-5x today's throughput and aiming for 10-15x as mainnet results allow.

Shout-out to @ATADA_Stakepool who in todays hard fork working group brought up the topic of adding minPoolMargin to the scope of the next hard fork!
While it's currently out of scope I think it makes a lot of sense to add it in!
MinPoolMargin is necessary to actually allow for fairer competition between stake pools.
