Another nice half for #iubb against mid-major competition, with lots to remain excited about on both ends on the floor. Here are some thoughts on the break:
- The story of this one has clearly been the duo of Darren Harris and Bryce Lindsay. These two were believed to be in position battle for a starting spot, but who says they can't both execute at a high level? Harris has 15 and Lindsay 13. Both have been great shooting from deep, but aren't afraid of contact in the paint.
- Having these two play at this level takes the weight of Markus Burton's shoulders. He hasn't made much of an impact, but that hasn't mattered for the Hoosiers' offense. Not depending on one player is going to play such a big role this season.
- Defense has been active and made Bellarmine really struggle. Especially on the perimeter, Indiana is picking up shooters extremely well and hasn't allowed any momentum on the outside.
- Trevor Manhertz has made his presence known once again, showing some nice intuition in being at the right place at the right time. A lot of maturity with him, and has been very promising through three halves so far.

Breaking: Malachi Toney has a high ankle sprain and will have surgery, which will allow him to return for the College Football Playoff, sources told @PeteThamel.
The timeline for return from this injury is typcially at least four weeks.

After undergoing further testing, Miami star wide receiver Malachi Toney is currently expected to undergo surgery due to the ankle injury he suffered today during practice, sources tell @CBSSports.
The current belief is that it’s not a season-ending injury, per sources.
