A farmer, tired of rats destroying his crops and stealing his grain, came up with a clever but cruel plan. He threw a dead pig into a deep, abandoned well. Attracted by the smell, nearly 80 rats rushed into the well to feast on the carcass. At first, everything seemed wonderful. There was more than enough food for everyone, and the rats ate until they were satisfied. But when the food was gone, they discovered something terrifying. The walls of the well were too steep to climb. They were trapped. Days passed, and hunger turned into desperation. Desperation turned into aggression. The rats that had once eaten peacefully beside one another began fighting for survival. Eventually, they began killing and eating each other. One by one, their numbers dwindled until only a single rat remained. Its eyes were bloodshot, and it had survived by consuming its own kind. Then the farmer returned, lowered a rope into the well, and rescued the last surviving rat. But he didn't save it out of kindness or compassion. The farmer knew the rat had learned to survive by hunting other rats. When he released it into his fields, it would continue killing its own kind instead of eating his grain. The farmer had turned his enemy into his greatest weapon. And that is the lesson of divide and conquer. Those who control the trap don't need to fight the battles themselves. They simply create the conditions in which others turn against one another. The rats believed their enemies were the other rats. They never realized that the true enemy was the farmer who had put them there. The greatest danger isn't always the enemy standing in front of you. Sometimes it's the one who created the conflict and stands quietly watching you destroy each other. Before you turn against your neighbor because of their political beliefs, ask yourself who benefits from keeping Americans divided. While we fight each other over Republican and Democrat, we may be overlooking those who profit from the conflict. Perhaps the real question isn't which side you're on, but who built the well—and why they want us fighting at the bottom of it.

There’s no place like Nebraska
In Nebraska I was told a number. I did not believe it. I have since checked it, and I still do not believe it. The football stadium in Lincoln has sold every seat, for every home game, since November 3, 1962. Every game. Not the good years. Every game. Through seasons the state would rather not discuss. Through blizzards. Through years when leaving early would have been reasonable, and nobody left. I asked a man named Gary how two million people keep a promise for that long. He said, "You buy the ticket." I asked what if the team is bad. "You buy the ticket." I asked what if it is snowing. He looked at me with real patience. "You buy the ticket." Here is the part that undid me. The first game of the streak, in 1962, they lost. Thirty-six thousand people came out the week after the Cuban Missile Crisis ended, watched their team lose to Missouri, and came back for the next one anyway. And the next. It has not stopped. The streak began with a loss. Nobody in Nebraska finds this ironic. They find it obvious. This summer there was worry. Ticket sales were slow. People wrote articles asking whether it would finally end. I read them in a diner over a slice of pie I did not finish, and I confess I was afraid for a state I do not live in. Then this week they announced the opener is sold out. Four hundred and eleven in a row. In my land, a lord who kept his word for sixty years was written into the temple records. Nebraska has kept its word since the Cuban Missile Crisis. There is no temple. There are eighty-five thousand people who bought the ticket. Gary is going Saturday. It is not snowing. He would go if it were. A promise is easy in a winning season. Nebraska has kept one through every other kind.

Something has changed. If this coldcard hack had happened a couple of years ago there would be headlines about it. The short term BTC price would be suffering. Besides my Twitter echo chamber, I haven’t seen anything about it. The price hasn’t moved.

Bitcoin isn’t going to do what you think. It will do what’s necessary to shake out weak hands, which in this case means waiting for impatient capital to capitulate, and then it will make up for years of underperformance in a week, leaving everyone offside. This is how it has always been. The vast majority of bitcoin gains come from 10 trading days per year. You can’t predict when those days will be. There are no reliable signals. No chart line magic. You just have to buy and wait. There was a somewhat reliable 4 year cycle when bitcoin was a much smaller asset with a much less diversified investor base, but that’s over now. The only way to make money investing is to ask yourself, “what is this asset worth, and what do I think it ought to be worth?” Then you buy and hold for (at least) a decade. The idea that you will be able to reliably time four year cycles going forward - or that bitcoin will reliably return 30% per year - is a fantasy. It will languish for years until all of the impatient capital sells to patient capital, and then it will gain 5-10x in a very short period of time. 99% of you are impatient capital.
That’s the conundrum isn’t it. Bitcoin is famous for its cyclical outperformance. Investors like myself lose some or all interest when the outperformance slows to index fund levels while remaining more volatile and with less protection (bailouts, fed puts, tangible assets and basic consumerism all providing floors). We failed to even double 2021 highs in 2025 and that’s not even correcting for inflation or comparing to basic index funds. People say “it isn’t fair to compare to 2021 highs”. Ok, but remember in 2021 how many days we had over 50-60k? There was no crazy parabolic high like 2017. A lot of the year wasn’t too far from the high. It should make sense that CAGR drops as an asset grows. People just disagree on the rate of slowing we should expect. Anything could happen, but expecting 30% CAGR for 10+ years seems nutty to me. Outperformance IS the product as far as many of us are concerned. I woke up to this in October 2025 when things stopped feeling like they would just work out. Maybe they do. I’m no longer confident. They say “The world will wake up and agree that Bitcoin is the best thing since sliced bread”. I have a lot of optimism when it comes to humanity, but not that much. People need serious incentive, and “inflation bad” is a mosquito bite most people are numb to.

More than 10 of my bitcoin friends got hacked in the past month. All had 2FA enabled. It didn’t help. Here’s how they almost got me too 👇 HOW THEY FOOL YOU 1️⃣ Someone from your contacts messages you to schedule a call. This is already a stolen account. A friend who got scammed before you. 2️⃣ They send you a calendar invite first. Then, right before the call, they send a Zoom link. At a quick glance it looks legit. The preview looks identical to real Zoom. The trick is subtle: the hostname and subdomain are swapped. This is the fake Zoom link they sent me. A real Zoom link would have those two words around the dot swapped. 👀 https:// zoom (DOT) webus05. us/j/47369507762?pwd=7kiAzRm6PNBvNFdBBEY04cr6LLzHPk.1 Easy to miss, even if you know what to look for. Especially when it comes from someone you trust. 3️⃣ The fake Zoom app looks flawless. Perfect copy of the real Zoom UI. No red flags. 4️⃣ You immediately see your friend on video. This is NOT A DEEPFAKE. It’s a recording of your friend from seconds before they got scammed in the previous session. That’s why it looks perfect and trustworthy. HOW THEY GAIN CONTROL 5️⃣ The fake Zoom app says your audio is broken and asks you to update. 6️⃣ The update “fails” and you’re shown a command line troubleshooting guide. ⚠️7️⃣ If you paste that command into your terminal, it’s over. You just gave the attacker remote access to your computer. HOW THEY ROB YOU 8️⃣ The malware they install remotely is simple and runs fast. It takes one or two seconds. It usually does two things: A) Scans your computer for bitcoin wallets and steals access. ⚠️B) Steals session cookies from chat apps. This is how they bypass your 2FA later. ELI5 SESSION COOKIES When you log into Telegram on your laptop, you enter your password and 2FA once. Telegram then saves a session token on your computer so you don’t have to do it every time. That token is basically: “Yes, this is the same person who gave you the password and 2FA earlier.” When attackers steal it, they present it to Telegram, which sees it as a valid session and lets them in. So they don’t need your password or your 2FA code. THEY ARE YOU. If someone gets access to your computer, you’re done. At that point, it’s just damage control. MY GOLDEN RULE Life is short and beautiful. No client call is important enough to mess with command line troubleshooting. Be lazy. Be safe. PS: unrelated, but we just launched Braiins Hashpower. On-demand bitcoin hashrate. Try it. It’s awesome. Like ice cream when you’re 12 😁

This
American Citizen just watched the Joe Rogan interview with Mike Benz talking about USAID She’s so mad, she’s physically shaking “This is literally treason” MUST LISTEN: “The things that USAID has been doing is treason. How can you describe the things that USAID has been doing as anything less than treason?” “How much of what we've been told by the mainstream news who were being funded by USAID, how much of that was real?” “The more that I learn, the more angry that I get, and I hate being f*cking emotional on here, I'm sorry, I don't mean to swear. I'm trying not to. I wasn't born and raised in the United States of America. The idea of what I thought the United States of America was is... it's not real. It's not real. These people have perverted our country and our goodwill. They have extorted the American people in the name of humanitarian aid. And essentially funded both sides of every conflict. This is overwhelming. I can't even like, I can't even like grasp my thoughts, my mind is racing.” “Like, this is insane. This is insane and these politicians that are sitting here screaming about how... how Donald Trump is causing a constitutional crisis. What are you talking about? You people have literally gotten rich off of USAID. And just for anybody wondering, it's not about the money. It's not about the money. It's about the corruption. It's about the cost, the human lives that have been lost. because of the money, the blood money that has been spent. They've been funding the Taliban, they've been funding Al-Qaeda. How is that not the tip of the spear of the military industrial complex? Cause you can't perpetually be in war if there's no enemies to fight.” “I want justice. I want every single person who had a hand in this corruption to be in prison. Every single one. I don't care if they're a hundred fucking years old. I don't care. They need to be in prison for the rest of their lives. These people are fucking evil. They are evil. And this is treason. Donald Trump, please, God, please protect Donald Trump and Elon Musk. I pray every single day for those men, for everybody. Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., Kash Patel, Pete Hegseth. I pray for Pam Bondi, and I pray for, I pray for everybody in the Trump administration. Oh, and JD Vance. I don't want to forget JD Vance. We need this wrecking ball to absolutely destroy this corrupt machine that has been perverting our country. And I want every single person involved in handcuffs and behind a jail cell door” This is just a small portion of what’s said. Every word is 100% spot on to how WE ALL feel right now

Take the straight line
The straight line. If you can invest & hodl $1,000 a month into #bitcoin for the next 20 years you end up with $25,000,000. That’s the straight line. All you have to do is walk it and go pick up your 25 million dollars. You know what most people are gonna do though? They’re gonna take a walk down the twisty maze of curvy overlapping spaghetti noodles. - Don’t buy Bitcoin at the bottom - Fomo in at the top - Sell the bottom - Trade shitcoins - Make a small profit - Think they’re a genius - Go all in - Get rugged - Trade more shitcoins - Make a modest profit - Forget to pay taxes - Get audited - Pay penalties and back tax - Left with nothing - Wife leaves you - Fall into depression - Taco Tuesday - Black out on margaritas - Hit on 43 year old divorcee - Back at her place - Ex husband was rich - “Shit, maybe this will work out” - You puke on her labradoodle - I mean all over - It’s everywhere - Despair - Sober up - AA meetings - Get a sponsor - Really work the program - Find Jesus - Long walks - Quiet contemplation - You’re back to yourself - “The future is whatever I make it” - Decide to finally buy bitcoin - It’s 2035 now - Bitcoin is worth 11.5 million dollars - Still 10x to go you think - You’re right - You invest what you can - 10 years later - Net worth = 2.6 million dollars. Not bad after all you’ve put yourself through, but you could have just walked the straight line and had 25 million fucking dollars. Be smart don’t be a retard.

“Retirement” is NOT the goal. Optionality and freedom to make money on my own terms is. Not having to work for someone else. I believe bitcoin will give me that flexibility 4 to 8 years time.

When he starts to worry, I’ll start to worry. Until then, business as usual.
the primary use of implementing winternitz signatures (PQ signatures), in bitcoin for now would be to knock out the quantum FUD traders! i can't see PQ being of relevance this decade, or probably more decades. "this time it's different" cool, we await with interest your results!
