The Vedās alone are our pramāṇa (authoritative) scripture. The Vedās are known as apauruṣeya (not written by any person). If a person creates something, it is called pauruṣeya. For example, when someone carves a sculpture, he is the śilpi. If a person writes a book, he is its author. But no one wrote the Vedās. As they are the very breath of Īśvara, the Vedās have existed eternally as apauruṣeya. One of their names is Śruti (that which is heard), and they have been preserved from parampara to parampara, as a Śruti.
The Vedās' meaning has been presented in forms ordinary people can understand. The Purāṇas and Itihāsas convey the meaning in a way that common people, and those who may not possess sūkṣmabuddhi (subtle intellectual abilities), can comprehend. We come to understand the teachings of the Vedās through the Purāṇas, the Itihāsas, the Nīti Śāstras (ethical scriptures), and our nitya anuṣṭhānas. Fresh Apple 🍎 & thermal shock
Anggy customer: You have sent us wax coated apples! Horrible 🤬 shame on you, fraud, scam, I can't trust anyone in this world, jaagograhak bachao...
Reality:
These apples were harvested in Kinnaur - where night temperature last week during harvest was +1-2C. They arrived at our warehouse where night temperature is +5-7C
Then they travelled to Hyderabad - via Dehradun & Delhi.
Peak thermal shock would have been almost +35C. So a delta of +20C that goes right into the apple till the core.
What does an apple do? It protects itself. It's still alive because it has been freshly harvested.
The skin of an apple starts secreting natural wax - called Bloom. Due to the apples being bumped around and friction of the paper trays, the fresh bloom gets scraped as it's generated. Then the apple generates more bloom.

What to do with these apples?
Just rinse in cool water and wipe with a soft cloth. Put in the fridge so that the apples cool down.

A matchmaker just dropped a reality check on modern dating expectations. After tracking her most hostile, insulting, and threatening clients since February, she revealed that 9 out of 10 were women.
The examples of entitlement are wild: one woman screamed because, for her a Stanford grad was "just an MBA," and another threw a 30-minute tantrum because her date had to reschedule as he was in a hospital. Another client claimed she was "10 times as educated" because a match made 3 lakhs less than her annually.
After dealing with such female clients, the matchmaker highlighted a massive red flag: the way you treat your matchmaker is exactly how you will treat your match "when things don't go your way."
Isn't she right? The true measure of a woman is reflected in how she handles the things which don't go her way.
The matchmaker further said that, "Men won't argue with this entitled attitude. They’ll just finish their coffee and never call back."
In marriages, your temper decides the direction, way more than the profile ever does. If modern, successful women are so entitled and full of attitude, men will just walk away, and not want to handle her temper. Who would want to waste their time, resources and energy over immature women!

I am from Ananthapuram district where the story was set. Brace for a no holds barred gushing and updates!!
Before the movie starts, let me say I felt an instant connect with the story.
My ancestors immigrated during Madras famine to Yellanur village in Anantapuram. My great great grand father and my great grandfather somehow managed to rebuild their lives and let me say even prosper a bit before my grandfather shifted base to Ananthapuram and family weaned away from agriculture. As a child, I have vague memories of former farmhands and their families visiting us, bringing fresh produce as gifts though our agrarian base was history.
As a child, I saw family grapple with one financial crisis after the other. Grain getting wasted was a strict no-no. I used to think it is because of our financial condition. But something tells me it is a value derived from an ancestral memory of the semi Arid Rayalaseema, mainly Anantapuram and Kadapa regions.
A famine story is bound to hit so close home that the Wikipedia plot and scenes I saw on Social media were enough for my chest to tighten.
