I lived in Stockholm. I lived in the house of a Holocaust survivor. Six years a prisoner in three different extermination camps. Sweden was a safe haven for many survivors, not everything went well, but it was a home for those who lost everything.
It is with sadness and outrage that I see posters in the shop windows of Stockholm as if we were in the 1930s in Nazi Germany.

Meet Mark.
Mark is a mensch.
In a world of Hasans, be a Mark.
I bought a hat with some Hebrew text on it.
In thirty minutes of wearing it in public, I've had two people come up and challenge me about the hat, asking what language it was and then glaring at me when I said Hebrew.
I'm not Jewish.
I don't like living in a world with ethnic hatred. This is bullshit, and it has to be pushed back against. You can have whatever feelings you want about a war on the other side of the world, but hating someone here because of what language you think they speak is disgusting.

RIP Patrick Stewart. What an actor. I still can’t believe he agreed to do this scene. And he didn’t even mind when I ruined every take. Legend.

As a neurosurgeon, let me tell you how frightening this injury actually is - an occipital compound depressed skull fracture treated with a WIDE craniotomy (outer staple line).
What's scary isn't the fracture; it's what's adjacent to the damaged skull. The axe blows (that tree-branch scar at the center) hit right over the posterior superior sagittal sinus, a large vein that runs lengthwise between the 2 cerebral hemispheres and carries blood from the brain to the heart.
Penetrating injuries to the sinus can carry upwards of a 40% morbidity/mortality - partially because a transection of the sinus can be difficult to repair and can result in extreme blood loss, venous air embolism, or thrombosis - all of which can be fatal.
There's scary, and then there's the "you go to elevate the fracture and risk unroofing the sinus, losing 2 liters of blood in a minute" scary.
The surgeons likely had their hands full and did an amazing job. Divine providence called many heroes into service that day. Damn fine work.

Jews don't require any kind of a solution, final or otherwise, because Jews are not a problem to begin with.

🚨 So apparently EVERYONE won Israel’s election! Well, kinda… 😂🇮🇱
We’ve translated and AI-dubbed the FULL election night speeches of Netanyahu, Eisenkot, Bennett and Lapid into ENGLISH!
Now watch all four and tell me: Which one actually SOUNDS like a victory speech, and which one sounds more like a concession speech?
Very telling.
Watch and decide for yourself! 👇

It’s a little known fact that Israeli children are less prone to developing nut allergies since Bamba is one of the first chewable food they get to try at a young age.

I was shopping in Brighton and antizionists tried to stop me buying Israeli goods from Waitrose. They said I’d be “racist” to buy them. I asked if it was xenophobic to boycott a whole nation. They had no answers. So I bought LOADS of Israeli products and they were NOT happy.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

What might have caused a 59% rise in antisemitism in London’s schools, do you think?
Any ideas?
Boy, it’s a tough one…
The poison of antisemitism has absolutely no place in our city, and certainly not in our schools.
Reports of antisemitic incidents in schools in England have risen by 59% in just one year. This is appalling.
We must stamp out this hatred before it takes root, so every young person can feel safe at school and to build a better society for our Jewish communities.

Of all the things that have been hardest to communicate in my life, this seems the most impossible: that our civilisation is not, by some law of nature, immortal. It has no right or likelihood to continue existing if it insists on committing harakiri.
The people who are welcomed onto our airwaves, work in parts of our government and lead some of our political parties include those who would burn down this country in a heart-beat. They would look us in the eyes and kill us. And we know that because they have done it elsewhere.
They don't do it at the moment because the time is not right. But when they feel it is, they will act. At which point I suppose people will have to decide whether they wish to be spectators at their own funeral pyre or not.
