much like liberalism, the left is in perpetual denial about its Enlightenment commitments. And also resistant to actually thinking dialectically about Enlightenment. They are both so entrenched that to believe you can transcend them is actually quite delusional.

Do they? Intersectionality is a BLACK framework investigating the matrix of domination’s combinatorial effects. That doesn’t mean one variable doesn’t have greater sociopolitical causality than another over your life. Racism has MORE overall causal significance than homophobia.
