I emailed Ayesha Verral directly asking what Labours plans are for overseas student loans, specifically whether they plan to change the interest rate in their next term after it went from 3.3% to 5.6% under National. Based on the response, they have no commitments around that

I understand "people with nz student loans overseas" is not a base of people that NZ politicians have much incentive to help out but I don't think I could vote for someone who has literally never considered whats fair, so Tamatha gets my vote this time
