While sneakers and loafers are popular for fall, celebrities reminded us to break out another classic shoe: knee-high boots. Sydney Sweeneyand Sienna Miller both stepped out in this essential autumn style, showing how easy they are to wear wherever you’re headed.
Whether you pair them with a long skirt like Miller or shorts and tights like Sweeney, they’re a mainstay in any capsule wardrobe. Inspired by their looks, we found similar pairs at Sam Edelman. Even better, they’re all on sale.
Channel Sweeney’s look with these luxe chocolate-brown boots. Though they have a 1.75-inch heel, one reviewer said they are suitable for walking, noting they wore them for a “10-hour day” with no discomfort. Plus, they come in wide-calf options to accommodate shoppers of many sizes.
Miller looked effortlessly cool in a maxi skirt and an oversized navy sweater, and her black leather boots tied the outfit together. We found a nearly identical pair on sale that one shopper said is “comfortable enough” for long walks. Unlike some tall boots that can be a chore to step into, that same fan shared that the full-length zipper makes these “easy to put on and take off.”
Fall and chocolate brown go hand in hand, so we’re buying these suede boots while they’re 40 percent off. They’re easy to wear with jeans or dresses and have a sturdy block heel with textured rubber soles for better grip. While we love the suede, they’re also available in black leather.
If knee-high boots aren’t your thing, you can channel the trend more subtly with these ankle boots. The pointed toe lends structure to baggy or wide-leg pants while the 2.25-inch heel adds height. Plus, one fan called them a “well-made” classic.

Demi Lovato Says Husband Jutes Brought ‘So Much Serenity’ in Her Life: ‘I Found My Home.
The “Heart Attack” singer, 34, joined Kerry Washington for an episode of her Street You Grew Up On podcast, and opened up about her hard-earned peace and happiness and how her husband, Canadian musician Jutes, contributes to both. Lovato and Jutes recently celebrated their first wedding anniversaryfollowing their nuptials in May 2025.
When Washington asked how, after grappling with mental health and addiction for several years, Lovato reestablished a sense of peace and calm in her life, the singer attributed her progress to her own introspection and her fulfilling relationship with her husband.
“I’ve also found my partner,” Lovato said of Jutes. “It’s such a gift. He’s brought so much joy into my life.”
In hindsight, Lovato said it was necessary for her to go through a period of self-work, treatment and “soul searching” because it prepared her to accept and be ready for her relationship with Jutes.
“I wouldn’t have gotten to this place had I not put in the work first,” she continued. “I wouldn’t have been able to appreciate the gift of having the love of my life come into the picture had I still been wrapped up in some of the issues that I had had in the past.”
Lady Gaga Hints New Music Is on the Horizon Following Mayhem
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, Lady Gaga posted a TikTok video promoting a new four-piece makeup brush set from her cosmetics line, Haus Labs. Beneath the video, in which she applied her base and contour using the brushes, a fan made a plea for the pop singer to release new music.
“Gaga please don’t make us wait long for albums!!! We just want music!!! Every albums has been taking longer & longer 😭,” the user wrote in the post’s comment section.
The singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, swiftly replied, “Don’t worry 💓💓,” prompting a string of hopeful conversations among fans.
One user suggested, given the time of year, that Gaga could be working on a spooky Halloween album, which “would gag us,” they wrote. Another took note of the video’s background music — Wham!’s “Last Christmas” — as a possible hint of what’s to come.
The hint at new music comes about a year and a half after Gaga’s most recent album, Mayhem, which dropped March 7, 2025. The album, Gaga’s seventh, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Months after dropping Mayhem — which was her first album in five years, following 2020’s Chromatica — Gaga set off on her Mayhem Ball Tour, which made stops in the United States, Europe, Australia and parts of Asia. The tour, which she co-produced with her fiancé Michael Polansky, recently concluded at Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 13.
Gaga also marked another major milestone: she and Polansky are parents! The couple welcomed their first baby, a girl, in June, PEOPLE confirmed in September. Since the baby’s arrival, the singer has been spending a lot of time at home with her husband and their newborn daughter, who they named Rose Bean, a source told PEOPLE.
“Gaga has taken to being a mother so well,” the source said at the time. “She is kind, protective and loves singing to Rose. She has been singing ‘La Vie en Rose’ and nightly lullabies to her.”
“They feel like a complete family unit and both of them beam when they talk about how Rose is growing,” they added of the new parents.

With models walking to her tracks, McRae put on a show in a bold set complete with a garter belt, corset top, and yes, a red-hot mic to match. Her hair was styled in bombshell-like waves that gave her glam that famous Victoria’s Secret touch.

Dad Helped Daughter’s Friend with Car Trouble. Now, He and High School Students Refurbish Vehicles for Single Moms.
Students in Virginia are helping single momswithout cars or those struggling to keep their cars safe and working for their families.
Eddie Brown and students at Louisa County High School have refurbished and donated more than 60 cars to mothers in need, with more moms patiently waiting for help, according to Woman’s World.
“The more moms we can get back on the road, the better,” Eddie, who leads the car-refurbishing-and-gifting operation via his and his wife Ginny’s Giving Words Foundation, told the magazine.
Eddie continued, “We’re providing cars, but what we’re really offering is dignity and independence.”
Eddie concocted the idea after his son, Sam, came home from school and told him that his “auto tech class is looking for cars to practice oil changes,” the father recalled to Woman’s World. At the time, Eddie was repairing a car that belonged to his daughter’s friend, a single mom.
“Expensive repairs and other transportation issues can threaten the financial stability of any family. But families led by single mothers are disproportionately at risk,” the Browns wrote on their Giving Words site.
“After evaluating a mother’s emergency and situation, we decide on the best course to get her back on the road — to work, to school and to her children’s activities and needs. We also determine what other help or services her family needs,” they added.
Now, high school students are helping with the refurbishments.
Eddie remembered asking an instructor at his son’s school, “If I can find donated cars, can your students fix them up for single moms who need them?”
The first car they fixed and gifted was a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, per Woman’s World, which added that the mother who eventually got the car “burst into grateful tears” and the students’ “eyes misted with pride.”
That mother, identified as Monica, told the outlet that “Eddie and the kids gave me more than just a car — they gave me back my life.”
Since then, Eddie and the students have worked on dozens more cars that their community has donated to them.
Eddie is now planning to expand the program to other schools.
RITMO LATINO: SHAKIRA SETS ALL-TIME TOURING RECORD
The “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” is the gift that keeps on giving for Shakira.
It’s not only the most successful tour of the Colombian star’s career, but also the highest-grossing Latin tour ever. Through Oct. 4, Shakira’s ambitious, lengthy tour has grossed $534,380,976 and moved 4,084,398 tickets across 118 shows, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
The she-wolf surpassed Bad Bunny’s “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour,” a massive stadium trek that grossed $443,403,120 across 57 shows. Other notable Latin tours include Luis Miguel’s triumphant 2023 return to the stage, which grossed $415,849,128 from 2,861,491 tickets, and Karol G’s “Mañana Será Bonito Tour,” which marked the Colombian star’s ascension to stadium status and hauled in $304,960,266 from 2,279,749 tickets.
The success of these tours over the past four years reinforces the notion that Latin music is the new pop—an influential force that has expanded well beyond its borders and continues to grow and evolve in different ways. Bad Bunny and Karol G are leaders of the urbano movement, Shakira is a chameleon who finds a way to modernize her sound by authentically dabbling in other genres without betraying her rhythmic pop sensibilities and Luis Miguel is Latin music’s own Frank Sinatra, a crooner whose ballads and pop hits continue to resonate, even among younger crowds, decades later.
The success of those tours speaks to the diverse sound of the Latin music umbrella and Latinos’ eclectic taste, one that embraces the new and always honors what came before it.
Shakira’s tour embodies that concept with a setlist that celebrates her storied 30-plus-year career, her evolution as an artist and Latin culture. She just concluded a 13-date residency in Madrid, Spain, that welcomed more than 700,000 fans and generated an economic impact exceeding $200 million, according to Live Nation.
It all took place at a purpose-built temporary venue called Shakira Stadium, built by architecture firm BIG within Macondo Park. The artist transformed the site into a cultural hub and curated ES LATINA, an immersive experience surrounding the venue that also celebrated art, literature, fashion and gastronomy. The residency featured more than 1,500 artists and performers from across the globe and delivered more than 400 hours of cultural programming. The residency was initially announced as a three-night stand, but high demand extended it to 13 nights.
Among those artists were superstars who joined Shakira on stage. Dua Lipa, Maluma, Bizarrap, Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz, Beéle, Manuel Turizo and Dani Martin made special appearances during the Colombian superstar’s impressive run.
Her performance with fellow superstar Dua Lipa was featured on Amazon Music’s exclusive livestream of Shakira’s Oct. 3, the platform’s most-viewed livestream by a female artist.
Shakira is at the tail end of her impressive run, which began in February 2025. The singer has a show at Bishkek Arena in Kyrgyzstan on Oct. 18, and her final listed date is the Shakira Live at the Pyramids of Giza show in Al Haram, Egypt on Nov. 28.
The “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour” was originally scheduled to begin as an arena tour in fall 2024, but the plan was scrapped because of overwhelming demand for tickets. Shakira then made the bold jump to stadiums, a move that paid off and cemented her as one of Latin music’s all-time greats.
I will surely not remember that message again if I don’t reply you immediately. It might even take days
