Product Hunt may not be the best benchmark for .si. Many startups featured there are small and launched by their founders, so the data may not reflect adoption by larger companies or the broader market. We should look beyond Product Hunt before judging .si’s potential.

This would be much better than risking the project shutting down. DotWeekly provides real value to the domain community, and I’d hate to see it disappear because the marketplaces benefiting from it aren’t willing to support it.

Most of these companies are buried in bureaucracy, and I deal with the same thing. Charging a small account fee, like NameBio, plus a few non-intrusive ads could help. High CPA rates in the US and Europe could make ads a solid revenue stream.

Open-source projects take a lot of time and effort, often with one person paying for everything to keep them running. I hope the domain community starts supporting these tools more. They make life easier for investors, and the people behind them deserve it.

You should add more donation options, like crypto or Stripe. I wanted to contribute, but I only found Wise, which isn’t supported in many countries.

I know someone holding 2,000+ .ai domains. He was real with me and admitted he’s been feeling the heat this week because of .si.

It’s usually the banks that charge those fees. Try using a digital bank instead — the fees will likely be much lower.

Most platforms will probably follow the same approach, and honestly, it’s the best move to crack down on these scammers.

Thank God the market is free and nobody gets to control it. They said the exact same thing about .ai, and a few years later, they were throwing thousands of dollars into it.

Most of the people hating on .si are either the ones who dumped hundreds of thousands into .ai or the ones who missed the chance to grab premium domains early.

I don’t see the problem here. If everything’s legit on your end, why be afraid to give the domain registrar your legal info?
