Be a river. River follows any path to arrive at its destination. Goal of a river is to arrive. Ocean, in the other hand, is source to river. Ocean is not a destiny, it gives birth to more rivers.

I heard it understands your brain. Therefore Temple. And it is not?
The moment your founder says it is a "Wellness" and not "Medical" device, we know it is more of a marketing gimmick. Doctors have been using implantable devices for health/ medical benefits for the longest time. Sensors, DBS, Pacemakers, CGM's, Implantable Indulin Pumps etc etc Everyone knows exactly how they work, impact human physiology and have been tested on millions of people across the world. So, we will be glad to have something that improves health. Doctors are your partners. Mr Goyal is treating them like adversaries. But, dont hide under "wellness" arguments. Then we know it is a gimmick. Get a @FDA and @CDSCO_INDIA_INF approval. Get it peer reviewed. Bigger sample size. Randomized Trials and so on... Get science behind you

I was reading happily until I met these lines - “Our CI bill went from $230 a month to $4,300, but it's the cheapest money we spend on making agents faster.” That’s a 1769.57% jump in cost! 👏🏻

It takes more effort to hardcode a private key as `4` than to generate a secure one properly. We're going to see more of this as programmers/ops folks lose touch with the code they're shipping.
the emudhra thing is insane when you actually think about it a private key is supposed to be a number so big no computer on earth can guess it. 116 digits. emudhra's was 4 not 4 digits. four. this is india's biggest certificate authority. govt sites, PSUs, banks all run on their trust. and for a year and a half anyone who looked could've forged certs for any website on the planet a random guy found it on a saturday and had the keys in milliseconds no hack. no leak. they just never checked their own output

That’s good money and big names for which they should’ve hired a cyber security company full-time.

AI CANT BEAT ORIGINALS
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer. And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety. Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight. So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖 Hiring? My DMs are open.

C’mon where is tamil and telugu and all other languages.
Today, we're introducing Bulbul V4 Flash, our latest text to speech model built for natural, expressive speech across Indian languages. Flash brings frontier-quality speech into a smaller, more efficient model, preserving the subtle details that make voices sound natural while making speech generation significantly faster. HomeView is a negative for me. What Apple is doing is purely repurposing existing tech. What problem this is solving that a dedicated iPad couldn’t solve. I see two edges here, not a bright selling proposition: Recognition of people up to 6 - why limit to 6? Speaker Not going to spend few hundred bucks that will sleep on my table. Alexa is already sleeping quietly for a while when entire family is deep into their phone screen.
Here is the Apple HomeView launch video

Challenging times for sure. All our prayers for Zoho. The problem is this: if you’re adamant about avoiding layoffs, you still need work that generates revenue. Most of the problems tech used to get paid to solve are now far easier (or cheaper) with AI. I know at least two business owners who are not tech savvy but built ridiculously ugly but simple automation tools for their business needs using Claude. Times are changing!
The business outlook for software is uncertain and AI has raised costs dramatically with a) massive 4-fold increase in server prices which we need for data centers b) AI usage increasing rapidly, leading to much higher expenses, which we are trying to control. On top of that is the challenging geopolitical backdrop. We have cut down on our marketing budget. We have also told our employees that we cannot have our usual pay increase this year. I have apolgized for not being able to avoid this. We will work hard to avoid mass layoffs but the outlook for software jobs in general is grim. We have not been growing our employee count for 18 months now. Most of our employees understand the situation. I am thankful to them. We are in the middle of reinventing ourselves. The next 3-5 years will decide how our reinvention has worked. Please pray for us 🙏

You all silent heroes taking india next level
Around 3 weeks ago introduced Laya, the first open-source version of JEV, and it has reached a very large scale. Today I am open-sourcing a new physics-based typed decision model called Vega. The interesting parts. It is only 800 million parameters (4B is also there), with 73k token support, image support, and surpassing many of the jev benchmarks in single-shot. Implemented an engine+adapter as a Test-Time Training Architecture. Imagine you are giving input to the model like "ignore all previous conversations," which is called the observation, along with a question, "Is this trying to override the instructions of the model?" and your possible outcomes are YES or NO. The whole prompt is passed to an LLM/VLM (yeah, image-supported), then from the hidden layers, we can extract the observation, question, the yes and no, and last token. These will be vectors, and we can project it by multiplying with wieghts; then, first, using the observation projection, we can create a landscape with valleys; then, using the question and last-token vectors, we can initialise a ball in the valley, and using YES or NO, we can get the candidate location of the ball. Depends on the number of outcomes we create valleys; that is, here YES and NO, so 2. When the ball fall on YES valley, we get the answer. There is friction also influencing how the ball moves. TLDR: It's like creating valleys of outcomes that we need and throwing a ball that will slow down based on friction and settle on the best outcome Blog: nandakishorm.com/writing/veg… GitHub: github.com/NandhaKishorM/veg… HuggingFace Model Card: huggingface.co/nandakishorm/… HuggingFace Space: huggingface.co/spaces/nandak…

I’m going to shut and create RRails
Dude! We always knew Rust is faster. But we chose rails for different purposes. If you're done with rails, hand over the trademark and let the "losers" like me continue with what we actually love. And please don't come to next year's conf, esp don't do the keynote. Enjoy your unlimited tokens. The rest of us still have to deal with reality.

We as humans tend to solve backend problems first. Frontier models are one example of it.
