So, I’ve been a loyal customer of @Adobe for more than 18 years… I’m ending my subscription because I will be using a different contract instead still with them, but they insist on charging my 167 bucks… Really??!

Throwback to the time I made this motion intro with a single prompt.
(Opened Slack and asked @agustineguia to "make it dope".)
Some people make noise on the internet for the sake of noise.
But @soren_iverson knows how to make it mean something.
This is how the Weird Al of tech turned his absurdity into a world-class design agency.

One of the main things I took away from this experience was that who you choose to create with is just as important as what you create.
The people who helped bring this documentary to life are
@designertom
@agustineguia
@editedbysam
@adnastu
@gilly

I did a bunch of stop motion for it and will be explaining my animation process soon.

Last year I got the opportunity to go to NYC to help @designertom document an event hosted by @ColinandSamir
We thought we’d be making a documentary about the 48hrs leading up to the event, but ended up covering 15 years.
7 TB of footage. Hours of archival. Animation, sound design, B-Roll: all for one documentary with @ColinAndSamir. We had to kill our darlings at every corner.
What made it hard made it good.

Lensed the new @ColinandSamir documentary as DoP and Camera A. Challenging shoot, unpredictable conditions, but proud of how it looks and feels.

This one's been months in the making: our @ColinandSamir documentary just dropped. I designed surrealist style frames, animated in stop motion by
@legendofbern .

There is a lot of slop on the internet.
So I've spent more than $200k answering the question: What is taste?
Not five minutes on cheap Twitter discourse, but consequential discovery.
Our @ColinandSamir documentary is live today.
If you care about slower, more human, more ambitious work, please watch it all the way through.
That attention is what lets us keep making these.
What I learned about taste from Colin & Samir isn't being discussed online right now.

Team is stacked going into 2026:
Design, dev, video production and a great network of film crew excited to show up when we need them.
We talk all day about "taste" in craft. But when you have great taste in people and talent, really cool things happen.
It's a big theme in my upcoming episode with Colin & Samir.
Shoutouts to the Enjoyers Studio team that believes in this chaotic little mission:
@legendofbern
@editedbysam
@agustineguia
@adnastu
@AlexAperios
@kylezantos
@laurilllll
And a huge thank you to our partners in crime: @JKaplan1 + @benjamweiss and the rest of the @smoothmedia_ team for flexing with our moonshots and helping us get there.

Intro I deigned and animated for the new episode of This is Taste with @designertom

Huge effort from all the team on this. So proud it’s finally out.
Design's best trendspotter is @ridd_design.
- He drives industry dialog with @joindiveclub
- He changes the way designers work with @inflight
- He spotlights designers, tools and trends early
I spent two days with him to learn how he does it.
One of the most important questions he asks: What should exist?
It's a question I asked before embarking on this series going backstage with some of the industry's most talented people.
This is the first episode.
What I learned was a lot different than what I thought I would.

This visual intro in my latest video is an absolute love letter to my favorite parts of the design community.

Writing the story for the @ColinandSamir episode of Taste S01E03.
I still can’t believe what a whirlwind the last month has been.
Spending time with people is fun. Even when it’s chaotic. But this post production part of storytelling is something I’ve been enjoying the most.
Huge shoutouts to @agustineguia @yoChanders and @legendofbern

If we followed @ColinandSamir for 48 hours as they put together their first Press Publish event in NYC, it would be a dream come true.
I don't expect this to work...
Shooting the shot anyway.
