Yngvild’s deficit at Champex-Lac (22:57) was the largest deficit ever overcome at Champex by an eventual race winner at CCC. Only other “large” deficits overcome at this stage of the race were: Xavier 2010 (19:32 deficit), Tom 2018 (16:21) and Jon Albon 2023 (10:56). #utmb

UTMB CCC charts: trailflow.io/live-chart/2026… A few items of note: F1 Yngvild Kaspersen was 20th at Arnouvaz (+13:46); 10th at Champex-Lax (+22:56) Among the 64 who hit gender top 20 at some point: men 10/36 DNF (28%), women 5/28 (18%). CCC had two handhold finishes: Ji Duo and Guillaume Tiphene both 11:04:26 (tied 7th). Peterman and Blumberg both 12:29:14 (tied 41st).

The #UTMB scores for the winners of the full loop have been announced: Ben Dhiman: 995 Blandine L’Hirondel: 829 Ben’s score is the highest ever recorded! 992 was the previous highest, scored by Jim at Chianti 120k last year, and Philemon at Sierre-Zinal earlier this month.

Anne Cécile Thévenot 🇫🇷 absolutely rips down the final descent and records the fastest split ever on that descent in 36m55s - almost a minute and a half faster than Emily Schmitz's finish earlier this afternoon. Anne Cécile finishes in ninth! #UTMB

This year's men's #UTMB race had the top ten separated by 1:41:54, the third tightest top ten in race history. Excluding Ben Dhiman's (outlier!) time, second through ninth were separated by 1:10:44.

Jazmine Lowther 🇨🇦 finishes fifth (23:21:55) at #UTMB in her first attempt at the full loop, after two previous top ten finishes at CCC. She joins Marianne Hogan, Ailsa Macdonald and Alissa St Laurent as the other Canadian women to have ever finished in the top ten at UTMB!

Rachel Entrekin 🇺🇸 (22:15:54) and Emily Schmitz 🇺🇸 (22:17:28) finish just over 90 seconds apart, for the tightest 2-3 finish in #UTMB history. This year's women's podium was only separated by 22m39s, the second tightest in race history (only to the 2018 women's race).

This year's race is the second time that the USA has put two women on the podium in the race, the other time being in 2022 where Katie Schide won, and Kaytlyn Gerbin finished third. #UTMB

Emily Schmitz 🇺🇸 runs the fastest downhill split from La Flegere to the finish line in Chamonix in #UTMB race history, in 38m20s. Ruth Croft's 39m50s from her incredible 2024 race was the previous fastest finishing split.

Blandine L'Hirondel 🇫🇷 becomes the first woman to crack the 22-hr barrier on a loop around Mont Blanc (21:54:49), and the first Frenchwoman to win #UTMB since Caroline Chaverot (2016)! Blandine also becomes the second woman to win OCC, CCC and UTMB in their career!! #UTMB2026
