How many times is the power play gonna play out the same way - lose opening draw - PK gets a scoring change - Failed zone entry - Puck cleared out of the zone - No sustained offensive zone control - Power play over

Spotify just announced a feature that could either save the music industry or destroy it. Starting as early as Q1 2027, Spotify Premium subscribers will be able to use AI to transform any participating artist’s song into a completely different version. Turn a folk ballad into a dance track. Make a hip-hop song sound acoustic. Generate a cover where one artist’s voice performs another artist’s song. Remix a pop hit into lo-fi study music. Create the version of your favorite song that only existed in your head until now. The remixes will be uploaded directly to Spotify. They’ll appear in playlists. They’ll count toward the original song’s chart position. And most importantly the original artist will earn royalties every time someone listens to a fan-created remix of their work. Spotify has already signed a landmark licensing deal with Universal Music Group the world’s largest record label. Negotiations with Sony Music and Warner Music are ongoing. The feature will cost an additional $4–$5/month on top of Spotify Premium. And analysts project 7–8% of American subscribers will adopt it by 2028. This is not Suno or Udio generating music from text prompts. This is fans remixing real songs by real artists with the artists’ permission, on the world’s largest streaming platform, with royalties flowing back to the creators. A music industry analyst who’s covered streaming economics for 15 years told her team something after reading the licensing agreement that reframed how she understood the future of recorded music. “Spotify just turned 640 million listeners into 640 million potential remixers. The question isn’t whether people will use it they will. The question is whether paying artists for fan remixes solves the economics of streaming or creates a world where the original recording is worth less than the infinite remixes generated from it.” Here’s what Spotify’s AI remix feature actually is, who wins, who loses, and why this might be the most consequential decision in the music industry since the launch of streaming itself 🧵

Made good sense to go rock out with my local buds tonight. 🤘🏻🎶🤘🏻
4-1. That'll be quite the tough task for the #SJSharks to come back from. Tough result, if it holds, but there are many more positives to take from this game.

If it’s Wave, Current, Tide, Undertow, or Splash, I won’t be mad. But i’ll be disappointed it’s not Tsunami.

Teams will lose five times in a six-game stretch during a long season. Even good teams. The Sharks are in one now but it's the way they are playing that's a huge concern. Will a players-only meeting spark a turnaround?🔓 #turnitallteal nytimes.com/athletic/7757874…

Kudos to JD Vance for having the courage to come out against the war one day after 70 million voters came out against the war @JordanKlepper

If you want me to even consider reading your article, don't make me click your tweet to then make me click a 2nd tweet. That's the fastest way to make me unfollow. If your stuff is worth reading, you don't need to rely on those cheap tactics and clickbait nonsense. Thank you.

Statistically, this #SJSharks defense is better than last season. That said, last season's D group was making $25M, collectively. This season's group is making $32M. I don't believe the ROI is working out quite how they would like.

Random defensive #SJSharks stats thru first 17 games: 2025-26 vs. 2026-27: • Goals allowed: 56 → 60 • D points: 34 → 31 • D +/-: +1 → -38 • Defensive payroll: $25M → $32M • Standings Points: 19 → 15 More money, worse results. Does this push GMMG to make a panic move?

🤔
#SJSharks Another Sherwood quote: "We gotta look ourselves in the mirror and do something about it. They're up 6-2, put their top power play out. Panarin's blocking shots, celebrating to his bench. It's disrespectful. Until we do something about it, things aren't going to change unless we man up and do something about it."

This will be one helluva road trip. G'night.

Sharks' Ryan Warsofsky on his message landing: "Our guys understand how we need to play. We show it daily. But I got to look in the mirror myself. And when we’re in these types of situations, are there things that I can do differently? We’ll look at it and we’ll go from there."
