I want to say a few things about "The 13th Step," after 2+ years of working with truly incredible people to make the podcast... (1/10)

I’d love to celebrate this… but I would also like to remind the @BaltimoreBanner that women play professional sports in DC, too

"To support this expansion, we will add journalists to the ambitious team led by Chris Korman. They will deliver regular beat coverage of the Nationals and Commanders, as well as enterprise reporting on the Capitals, Wizards and Terps. Our coverage begins soon, with stories from the Nationals’ spring training in Florida."

While you are rightfully hearing about the award-winning sports, metro and international reporters losing their jobs, so many of the journalist that lost their livelihoods last week never had their names published on stories.

As your customer, when I see that a game is on Paramount+, it’s logical to assume I can watch it with my existing account. I hope you hear your customers’ frustration and confusion about last night’s @nwsl final.
Hey @RacingLouFC fans! How is the food at Lynn Family Stadium? Excited to be there for tomorrow @USWNT game!

Today is a ✨really✨ good day to start listening to @roseveleth’s new podcast series “Tested,” which details the century-long history of sex testing at the Olympic Games.

Seems like the right time to start this podcast. "Tested follows the unfolding story of elite female runners who have been told they can no longer race as women, because of their biology." 1/2

Now is an excellent moment to listen to Rose Eveleth's new podcast about why the Olympics started caring about whether female athletes were sufficiently female -- and the knots they've tied themselves into for decades trying to decide how to tell. cbc.ca/listen/cbc-podcasts/1…

.@roseveleth has been following this story for more than 10 years. They pitched it to various outlets for EIGHT years until BOTH the CBC and NPR said yes. I deeply admire what Rose did here. They knew this story needed to be told and never let it go.
