why is it always “we cut thousands of employees to save money” and never “we cut millions from our CEOs salaries to save money”

Netflix is laying off around 1,000 employees, representing 6% of its workforce, in what is the streamer's biggest layoff to date. Most of the layoffs will affect workers in Netflix’s product, technology, legal and HR teams. “Our mission — to entertain the world — is ambitious, and delivering on it requires us to be disciplined about where we prioritize our people and resources,” co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters wrote in an email. variety.com/2026/tv/news/net…

I use AI to help illustrate my children’s books. Does that make the art bad? I set the style and scene, then make edits on the image as needed. I would not be able to publish them otherwise.

Learning a lot from many of you. Thank you. Lots of information that I'm digesting wholeheartedly. I am absolutely understanding the concern of using AI to assist an animation pipeline. For all those showing me grace, I really appreciate it. I have a lot to think about.
