Itโ€™s a game of football. What is he supposed to do? Let him run the length of the pitch without being tackled or something?

That challenge is an absolute disgrace. Anyone who had ability as a kid always had to deal with a grown man โ€œletting you know he was thereโ€. There is nothing noble or admirable about this, what kind of โ€œhard manโ€ tries to cut a 16 year old in two?

Losing a penalty shoot out to PSG and Fleetwood in the space of 6 months is quite something

Rico Henry is alive!!!
Jon Harland@jonharland_Oct 27
๐ŸšจRico Henry picked up a 'hip/quad' injury in training a few weeks ago, Andrews reveals, and will be out until after int'l break. That is why RH hasn't been in last three PL squads. First time KA has brought this up. #Brentford

This sort of casual sexism towards Kate Kane really gets my goat. She looks bloody gorgeous, supports him unquestioningly and they clearly love each other. If anything, heโ€™s punching up, so do f*** off.

This type of girl is a good stepping stone at the start of your career, but when youโ€™re one of the worldโ€™s elite footballers, you canโ€™t be bringing a girl like that to a Ballon dโ€™Or ceremony with 10/10 latinas. #ballondor

And in the end, it was the player who didnโ€˜t need to campaign or talk big on social media for himself to win. It was the guy that literally just played good football and left the talking to the others.

FWIW, I agree that weโ€™re drawing too many games and it will most likely cost us. However, a caveat: Bournemouth finished 6th last season with 18 draws (& 13 wins). Worth bearing in mind. #BrentfordFC

Is Mark Chapman having a massive sulk or did he have a row with someone just before @BBCMOTD went on air? He has the privilege of hosting the most famous and iconic sports programme on the telly - he could at least make an effort. #MOTD

Agree with all of this, but with the caveat that he is young enough to improve (notably distribution & command of his box). Raya was special and will likely be a class above anybody who comes after him, but he made a LOT of mistakes when first signed & learnt to command his box.
Rian ๐Ÿ@rianmullaleyOct 25
Heโ€™s a good goalkeeper but peopleโ€™s opinions of him definitely get inflated by the fact his predecessor was Mark Flekken who just wasnโ€™t very good at all. Quality shot stopper, ok with his feet but heโ€™s not one of the best in the league as some seem to think he is.
