On Oct 21, Anthropic launched Claude Duet, an AI agent that doesn't wait to be asked.
It keeps an eye on your inbox and calendar, sends you a briefing every morning, and reaches out when something needs your attention. When you step away, it keeps working on its own cloud computer, and checks with you before sending, paying for, signing, or deleting anything.
Sounds like the perfect assistant. One catch: it runs on your Claude plan's usage limits, and every background check counts.
Anthropic is refreshingly honest about it: checking nonstop would burn through your limits much faster, so it only peeks every few hours.

One click down, my little elephant shrinks. All the way down, even the video drops to 240p.
