Yearning has to be one of the greatest muses in art. Something about its bittersweet quality is hopelessly addictive.

I really enjoyed reading this. Ryo is one of my favourite songwriters, and hearing of his humble beginnings with Hatsune Miku, I couldn’t help but smile.

#20 初音ミクの声が、恥ずかしかった。｜ryo

I’ve been practicing my sight reading recently and it’s a very fun challenge. It’s like playing a rhythm game!

Is this one of those new gen fandom things? I’ve been in this fandom since 2013 and I’ve always used Vocaloid as an umbrella term.

"oh yeah vocaloid is the umbrella term" ITS VOCAL SYNTH NOT VOCALOID

I don’t really care which word people use, but vocal synth sounds so detached from the decades of culture this scene has built. I will always call it vocaloid.

Overthinking is the killer of productivity. I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to figure out how to min max instead of just doing the thing and it’s something I’m trying to improve on.

Social media might be the worst offender for me. I’ve thought so much about how to do it, how it will be perceived, what it will say about me, etc. It’s all so dumb! So yeah I’m going to start posting daily acoustic performances cause that’s better than nothing!

On ig and tiktok though. Twitter will remain more for just sharing more finished works.

I mic'd it with a e906 and it's sounding great! I really wanted to hear how to spring reverb sounded recorded and even with it all the way up it sounds amazing.

The scary thing about getting what you want is that it makes you want even more. Human greed sickens me. Anyways I might buy a guitar amp this weekend ☺️
