and to disable highlighting the texts so no one can copy or paste it anywhere. wattpad already has that feature, even ellipsus. it’s about time ao3 has it too

I honestly think the best thing for ao3 to do is to give authors the freedom of choosing whether to allow download on their fic or not

For me it's because the link redirects to the fic page where I can edit, fix, change tags or whatever. While the PDF will be a copy where I don't have those abilities. Also: my fics are 18+, while ao3 makes you click on a button confirming your age, a PDF doesn't have this
