I’ve just learnt about reverse martinis 🍸 A reverse of proportions, 5 parts vermouth to 1 part gin, I feel unwell thinking about it.
We need to listen and act according to messages from our scientists not dog whistle politicians

Miki (husband) is on speaker phone talking to AMEX, service is polite and professional though result is pending. Highlight of the call is without peer, a series of loud crows from a rooster 🐓 or two in the background. It’s brought me great joy on a quiet Monday afternoon 😊

Strange hearing the argument that we need to accept religious belief in sport. We do. We watch, accept and in many instances celebrate prayer on the sports field. It’s shown on TV throughout every round of the nrl. But we can’t accept 🏳️🌈? Sport’s at its best when it’s for all.

Today the Gov blocked an inquiry into Mr Porter's secret $1m trust fund donations.
Even the Gov's own Speaker said there are Qs to be answered.
This Gov's commitment to secrecy is beyond reproach.
We need an ICAC now.

MPs on the backbench- not just ministers- have an obligation to declare pecuniary Interests
Have we ever had a more self indulgent or heedless PM?

There's a big difference between 70-80% of eligible adults and 70-80% of all Australians.
Finally, a hero found among countless villains. I want to hear and see more from Dr Mike Freelander. As usual, our PM displays unnatural hubris, turning his back and playing on his phone when a non Liberal Member speaks to the House. The arrogance…

Dan’s & Bunnings have smashed it thru COVID. With the majority of eastern seaboard in #lockdown try to share your coin on small business - imagine the difference. The pandemic leaves us powerless - take back control, be wise & generous to a business that needs it.
Someone in the PM’s office should remind him that secrecy fosters fear, transparency builds trust. Daily shows of arrogance, blatant equivocation during press conferences highlights with clarity how little he thinks of the public. Our collective memory is long & unforgiving.
"The minister makes the decisions as they're authorised to make those decisions." Scott Morrison peppered with questions about the #CarparkRorts scheme. "Australians are the winners! Thanks very much." #auspol
Why is it that after Barnaby Joyce's unwelcome performance in Parliament yesterday the news media is being so silent? Joyce frequently defends the indefensible yet I haven't read a peep of excuse or denial. His actions are reckless, dangerous & self serving, I'm angry & cheerless
