A worker-led movement to put power back in the hands of Amazon employees and establish our right to negotiate for a better, safer, and more equitable workplace.

We're fighting to make Amazon recognize our union, & as a result of our win, they’re in federal court arguing unions are unconstitutional. If they win, a century of worker rights could be undone. Public support is vital to keep up the fight—can you help? secure.actblue.com/donate/am…

It’s Amazon’s Big Deal Prime Day, which means the $3 trillion company will be making billions of dollars in sales this week. But how much of the profits are going to the workers who run Amazon? We asked @amazonteamsters how they are fighting for higher wages:

Amazon delivers danger. Amazon amassed over 14,000 safety violations since 2020, including thousands of citations for speeding in school zones, blocking fire hydrants, running red lights, and more. ▶️Check out the Amazon Delivers Danger Map: tinyurl.com/danger-map

Thank you to @DMJulieSu and @NYCOSH for inviting Amazon workers to sit at the table to talk about how extreme heat impacts our work and to @32BJSEIU for being host to this very important roundtable!
THREAD: From ramp agents moving heavy cargo in the boiling belly of a plane to cafeteria workers toiling over a hot stove, extreme heat is a real threat. Grateful @DMJulieSu joined frontline workers to discuss heat and what they need to stay safe and healthy on the job. /1

“Amazon itself is such a large corporation, but it has such little responsibility for the harm it actually causes,” said @MooreProgress We have majority of City Council co-sponsoring the Delivery Protection Act. @NYCCouncil: Put the bill to a vote! amsterdamnews.com/news/2026/…

BREAKING: A new report released by the Teamsters and our allies shows that Amazon is the leading violator of New York's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, which requires large employers to give workers advanced notice of termination or closures. From 2023-2025, at least 25% of New York workers laid off in the transportation and warehouse industry worked for Amazon. During those years, over 1,000 workers were fired without the legally required notice from Amazon. Despite claiming to be a "job creator,” Amazon is verifiably the biggest threat to good jobs in America. The Teamsters will not let Amazon continue destroying the workers responsible for its trillions in profit.

Have you seen ads recently from "small businesses" opposed to a bill to protect Amazon drivers? Turns out Amazon paid for all of it. The City Council can stand up to this corporate bully trying to manipulate our city. It's time to pass the Delivery Protection Act!
Amazon is spending millions pretending to be a small business coalition to oppose the Delivery Protection Act. This dark money is a threat to our democracy. New op-ed by Executive Director @MooreProgress and Susan Lerner of @CommonCause: nydailynews.com/2026/08/17/a…

Yesterday Mayor Mamdani endorsed a bill to force Amazon to employ its own delivery drivers, rather than outsource the work to subcontractors. The Prospect can report that Amazon's lead lobbyist on that bill is Chuck Schumer's daughter Jessica. prospect.org/2026/08/11/mamd…

Amazon made more than $92 billion in the first half of this year but uses legal loopholes to deny workers their constitutional right to a union. I applaud @NYCMayor for supporting legislation holding Amazon accountable for this corporate greed & protecting its drivers.
If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon. Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability. It leaves our workers unprotected and our streets less safe. It's time for a change. I'm proud to support the Delivery Protection Act to crack down on exploitative subcontracting and build an economy that works for everyone.
