Who are the European social-democrats endorsing in the Israeli elections? Settler colonial apartheid.
European socialists, instead of endorsing the Joint List which openly calls for equality and two states, support the supremacist leader that banned Sami Abu Shehadeh, called to starve Gaza and refused to endorse Palestinian statehood.

We now know a lot more about the actions Netanyahu planned against Iran before the elections: 1) Netanyahu ordered the exact same kind of preparations that preceded the two previous attacks on Iran to take place right before the elections. The goal was to lure Iran into an attack that will influence the elections. 2) Zamir is the reason this did not take place. Everyone else either agreed with Netanyahu or at least did not pull their full weight against it. 3) Netanyahu is hoping to remain in power and fire Zamir. As a reminder, he appointed Zamir thinking he would be a yes-man after firing Herzi Halevi. 4) Netanyahu desperately tried to convince Trump to attack before Israeli elections too. The only reason there wasn't a war before the 27th is that Netanyahu was stopped by Trump and the IDF Chief of Staff. The war will return anyway, after the midterms when it is more convenient for Trump. It is all political for both of them.

Over the weekend I have been taking ever deeper dives into Sir David Bell's “Independent” Review into Antisemitism in Schools and Colleges. There is zero doubt in my mind that this sloppy, misleading, and inaccurate report is contribution to a systemic, legal, and institutional dismantling of any support for Palestine, or any education and discussion about Palestinian history and existence within the UK education system. "The change reflects the import of the Gaza strategy of total destruction into West Bank operations." Warning: the report details several cases of sexual violence, including two cases of rape, so read with caution (or don't if it's too much).
#Israel has committed war crimes & crimes against humanity in the Occupied #Palestinian Territory amid continuing #genocide in Gaza, the @UN Commission of Inquiry on Occupied Palestinian Territory & Israel said in a new report to #UNGA81 today. More ➡️ bit.ly/4zR1h0S

Israeli government TV admits that its operation in Hebron, which has involved the ethnic cleansing of entire neighborhoods, has unearthed no arms. Despite lies that Hebron was full of terrorists, only one rifle and one pistol were found in a search of hundreds of homes. The people of Hebron are peaceful, and even the IDF admits this operation is pointless and needs to end.

Vučić was ready to make Serbia into a lithium colony for the German auto industry and in doing so to contaminate riverways and drinking water for a large portion of Serbia’s population. My guess it’s why German mainstream media like the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung tried to slander the student movement for so long. They relentlessly went after the students in their coverage with false claims. I don’t think people realize the protests came about because of a situation that was truly existential.
It’s crazy Vucic had a German advisor since 2013 paid by the German government. They were making deals about lithium behind the scenes.

"Gaza must be annihilated. And it's not the first time we say this." Prominent Israeli analyst Noga Arbel, a former MFA official, is still thirsty for blood, just like the vast majority of the Israel public, even after 3 years of genocide. Aired on Channel 14 on September 23.
So-called "Geo-Strategic & Public Policy Analyst" working for Kohelet Forum, a think tank with very close ties to the Israeli government, spreads thoroughly debunked atrocity porn about October 7. They gotta maintain justification for the genocide so they gotta keep telling lies.

Shaiel Ben-Ephraim, @academic_la, is an Israeli geopolitical analyst, former Israeli military intelligence analyst, academic and podcast host, and he has produced a very interesting analysis of the children killed on October 7. The video deserves to be watched in its entirety — all 30 minutes of it — but here's a summary: What he wanted to establish was whether there is evidence that Hamas deliberately murdered children. Because even though we've come a long way from the babies-in-ovens lies, the notion that children were obvious targets is still virtually impossible to question. So he decided to examine every child aged 14 or younger who was killed that day, since children over 14 can be mistaken for adults. And the purpose, of course, was not to prove that there was no intent, because nobody can do that. He simply went through each of the sixteen children, one by one. Where did they die, under what circumstances, and is there reason to suspect deliberate murder? Hamas has been clear that its orders were not to kill children, women or the elderly. Of course, you don't have to believe that if you don't want to. Besides, not everyone involved was a Hamas fighter, and those who weren't probably hadn't heard the orders. But for simplicity's sake, I'll refer to all of them as Hamas here. There are also several examples of situations where they had the opportunity to kill children but left them unharmed. Here's what he found: Children whom Hamas saw and deliberately killed: 0 Children killed when Hamas tried to break into houses: 4 Children killed by rockets: 5 — four of them Bedouins, because they lived in villages where Israel had neglected to install warning systems and bomb shelters Children killed in attacks where cars were shot at: 1 — an unborn Bedouin baby who died after delivery Children killed in crossfire, with responsibility unclear: 2 Children killed by Israel: 2–3 As for the remaining children, they died under mysterious circumstances, probably also killed by Israel. Why does this matter? Because what happened that day was terrible enough without having to resort to lies. The purpose of lying about Hamas supposedly deliberately trying to murder as many children as possible is to portray not just Hamas, but all Palestinians, as bestial monsters. It's encouraging that an Israeli has produced this video. Unfortunately, despite his thorough work and detailed sources, it has received no more than a couple of hundred views. It deserves better. #October7 #Hamas #Israel #Palestine Links below 👇🏻 xitter.gq/academic_la/status/211… trotzenfeldt.com/2026/10/26/…
If you did not want to watch the 30 minute version, here is a short one: the story of every child killed on October 7th and why not a single one of them was executed or killed deliberatley by Hamas. Indeed, their share among the killed is infinitesimal showing that Hamas tried to spare children when they could.

I wonder if the Burnham government will issue an immediate set of responses in relation to this much more credible and properly researched report? Or will it, instead, end bin collection in Birmingham because the Green Party believes the ideology behind those crimes is racist.

🚨 The @BoardofDeputies has declared @TheGreenParty a racist, antisemitic party for its opposition to Zionism. We need to unpick just how deeply hypocritical this position is, and the extraordinary double standards at its heart. The Board fiercely defends Zionism and the Jewish right to national self-determination, while in 2025 actively opposed Britain's recognition of Palestine as a state. It acknowledges the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, but largely frames it as just that: a humanitarian catastrophe. It hasn't recognised Israel's actions as genocide or unequivocally condemned the Israeli government's overall conduct in Gaza. So here's the fundamental contradiction... Zionism isn't simply an abstract religious belief in Jewish self-determination. It's a political ideology whose founding objective was to establish a Jewish homeland IN PALESTINE. A land already inhabited by another people, whose slaughter, dispossession, displacement and denial of fundamental rights cannot simply be erased from the conversation. And yet, that's EXACTLY what's happening. Those speaking up for Palestine often say you can't present a genocide as a debate between two equally legitimate sides. But we're not even getting that far. When Jewish self-determination is fiercely defended, while Palestinian statehood is opposed, and the human suffering is discussed without confronting the political responsibility for it, Palestinians themselves are being erased from the very conversation about their future. What does it say about our understanding of racism when the rights and humanity of an entire people can be treated as secondary, or even not at all? The most damning question of all is what this says about our own @UKLabour government. Because whether through fear of being branded antisemitic, political self-preservation, or a calculated move to mask its own complicity in the atrocities being committed, this is a position our government continues to accommodate, defend, and aplify. Rather than unequivocally standing up for Palestinians being killed by the IDF, it continues to embolden its political relationship with the Israeli state. We've reached a point where challenging an inherently racist and dangerous political ideology is treated as more outrageous than the mass killing, dispossession and destruction being carried out in its name. Antisemitism is racism. It must be confronted wherever it exists. But opposition to Zionism is not antisemitic, it's morally and lawfully correct. And no political ideology, state or government should EVER be granted immunity from scrutiny, particularly when the consequences are measured in human lives. @andyburnham @ZackPolanski @jeremycorbyn @corbyn_project #GazaGenocide‌ #FreePalestine

Watch this. Lubna Speitan, author of the Greens4Palestine motion “Zionism is racism”, spells out the central obscenity of our age – the grotesque inversion whereby the victims of ethnic cleansing, Apartheid and genocide must constantly fend off accusations from their tormentors that it is they who are the racists. “We as Palestinians are being silenced and gaslit and vilified [as we] witness the annihilation, the cold-blooded murder of our families, of our people… our children burnt with phosphorus, having to endure amputations with no anaesthetic, having their limbs torn and shredded, their bodies burnt by phosphorus, being starved to death … And to have to sit here … and try to bury my feelings so I can eloquently and diplomatically shield my anger, my rage, my anguish that every Palestinian is feeling, is an insult.” /1
