//The only Eric LaRocca that I have ever read that let me down.

//I have now read every book by CJ Schafer and it is never a bad time. Absolutely loved this short little book. Inventive use of a drill.

//I wish this book would have had more mummies in it. It was sorely lacking the mummies.

//A friend of mine wrote this one and it's a sequel to one of their short stories in a collection called Good For Her. Really good political commentary but also just bonkers violence all around.

//A gross, disgusting trans pregnancy horror written by a Trans man. This book is amazing. I absolutely love Andrew Joseph White.

//Honestly? You can skip this one. There are better ways for beginners to get into folklore. Also caught some inconsistencies with some of the folklore presented.
//This book had me FLOORED when it came to the twist to the point I had to wake @smclltownsoul and rant to them about what I had just read.
//A departure from horror for once! I love the Twisted Tales series and so far I think either this one or the Sleeping Beauty one are my favorites.
//This book was specifically handcrafted for me. A really fun slasher set in the world of professional wrestling. It also sets up a sequel that I would kill to read.
//Written by any other author, this would have felt very icky since it focuses on a native tribe in the Antartic. Because it was a native author, though, it works. Really gross use of a harpoon.
