In our new CSCW article, we explore privacy alternatives to disappearing photo stories where sensitive parts of a photo could be redacted over time. These ‘temporal redactions’ preserve privacy while also allowing people to retain versions of the photos as memories. #CSCW2022

Going through transcripts of an ongoing study. Realization: Most people will always prefer convenience over privacy. As a privacy researcher, don't know what to feel - happy (more research opportunities) or sad (very little real world impact in terms of raising awareness)
