You can get these at La Fromagerie in SF and they are divine.
The jambon-beurre—a classic Parisian sandwich of ham and butter on a baguette—is having a moment in New York. Recently, the sandwich has been cropping up at shops and boulangeries across the city. But the best jambon-beurre is also the newest, Helen Rosner writes. It can be found at Richaud Petite Bakery, a novel effort by the actor turned baker Richaud Valls. “The reason this sandwich has won my heart more than others in the city is the torpedo of bread they’re tucked into,” Rosner continues. “Which sighs and crackles, an entire universe of complexity and depth in its crumb.” Read more: newyorkermag.visitlink.me/qW…

I find it significant that the most AI-pilled people I know use AI for basically everything…except for writing
It’s remarkably consistent. Why? Because to write is to think. And outsourcing your critical thinking to AI is intellectual suicide
A lot of guys saying that they have matches that are not interested. Okay true! But if you ask her out within a few messages ( a bit of banter is fine) you will quickly weed out uninterested women and will get more dates overall with less time wasted.

I think if you match with them on a dating app they have sufficent indication that you’re interested!

I love that Halloween is immediately followed by daylight saving time. First we confront our mortality, then we fiddle with the microwave.
The worst part of dating as a decisive high-agency woman is that you have spend so much time waiting around for a man to do something- ask for your number, ask you out, make a plan, keep said plan. And so many of them are so slow with what should be a 5 minute process max
The average process is: way to many messages before they ask you for your number, they make a vague plan but the date, time, place are not locked in until days later (if at all), 40-50% chance they flake day of but ask you to reschedule and are surprised when you say no.
