@intel has just unveiled their Meteor Lake SoC architecture, which brings disaggregation to the mobile market through chiplets. Along with updated P and E-core architectures come new Low Power Island (LP) E-cores, an NPU engine for AI, and Xe-LPG graphics.

Further to reports of core parking issues on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, I've checked specifically to see if our results were subject to this.
To confirm, I did not experience any core parking issues during my testing, and I used a fresh install of Windows 11

Although not our usual first-hand performance preview, today Qualcomm is disclosing benchmark results of their new Snapdragon 888 chip from their new generation reference device.

Just as an update to this, we're still working on the issue. Our load balancer has Ryzen envy. We've made some other changes and site performance should be more tolerable now, but it'll be a bit longer until the real fix is ready.

Well this is really cool. Intel has finally released "unlocked" GPU drivers for OEM systems that otherwise require locked drivers. Via the magic of the Win10 DCH driver model, the base driver can be updated without touching the required OEM customizations

There were questions about the Snow Ridge SoC given old slides showed diagrams also used in Foveros presentations. Just received an official statement from Intel:
"The Intel Atom P5900 SoC does not leverage Intel’s EMIB or Foveros packaging technology"
