I'm 24. I work 9-5.
As I approach 30, I don't want to end up being a normie stuck in a 9-to-5 job.
That's why every evening and weekend, I'm building my SaaS and personal brand.
The goal is dead simple: grow my SaaS to $1k MRR while working 9-5 and document every single step.

Most people think they need to quit their job to build a successful SaaS.
@pobidowski did the opposite.
He grew a niche SaaS to $8,000/month while working a 9-5.
In tomorrow’s issue we’ll break down exactly how he did it.

Hacker Residency is over.
I know, I’m a bit late to the party of @HackerResidency summary posts, as I decided to take a short break from social media.
But now I’m back baby 😎
May was really transformative for me.
And no, it’s not another bullsh*t post of how cool that was.
When I say it, I truly mean it.
In just 30 days, I became a stronger, more confident, smarter and wiser version of myself.
As I turn 25, this is the exact transformation I was looking for.
This month helped me to realise 5 things about myself, indie hacking and life. Here they are:
1. Even the most successful entrepreneurs don’t know exactly what works and why. Ofc, over time they get some learnings, experience and leverage, but they still fail sometimes, stress about their revenue and make mistakes.
2. Dedicate at least 6+ months of full focus to one thing to make it work or understand that it won’t work.
3. Clearly understand your ICP, and what you are selling and to whom.
4. My confidence is my unfair advantage. I need to just do things, don’t overthink it and keep pushing, pushing, pushing. Now I’m more confident than I’ve ever been.
5. I love building things, even when I’m gonna have $5m in the bank, I’ll keep building. That’s my thing, and I gotta keep doing it.
I’ve realised, that if you want to grow, you need to surround yourself with smarter people. You are the average of your environment.
Time to build something great.

What if “Ship solo + sleep never = SUCCESS🤑” is the biggest lie on the Internet right now?
This video features private interviews with @tibo_maker @phuctm97 @ElitzaVasileva @andrewzacker @praneethpike @qwertyu_alex at the @HackerResidency villa in Da Nang.
Why did I fly to the other side of the world to talk to them? Was it useful for them to lock in together?
WATCH the video and find out 🔥🔥
Not bad for a 12-hour flight.
Thanks to whop’s green recovery, I can officially feel good for the whole day 😅.
Build in public is dead 😵
When you succeed, people copy you.
When you’re failing, nobody cares.
But today’s Marketing OS guest @jackfriks proves it still works when you do it right.
He grew a SaaS to $40K MRR by building in public.

We are LIVEEE!
We're live from @HackerResidency

People talk about “focus switching” when you combine a 9-5 and a side start-up.
But when you are building a SaaS after job you are actually LASER FOCUSED on needle-moving activities, because your time and energy are limited.
Also, if you are shipping every day even though you don't have enough time and energy, it means you truly want to achieve it, and excuses don't exist for you.
Lastly, with a high-income job, you can try more aggressive SaaS marketing, like ads, influencer marketing, hiring someone and be okay with failures.
That's my goal, to build a successful online business, while working 9-5, document it and prove that it is possible.
I don't know anyone who quit their job to live of savings and built something that made money before their savings run out except @AndreyAzimov
I always think it's the wrong way to do it
I think you should build something on the side and once it makes equal or more money than your main job or freelance gigs and it's stable, quit the job and switch
Being unemployed somehow makes people lazy and feel too relaxed to build something, like your day is fully free of commitments which sounds ideal but freedom isn't when stuff is built I think, you need constraints
I had income from my YouTube channel Panda Mix Show in 2013 when I started, and it took over a year before I made enough money to switch
Obviously I wish him well but I think better do the switch than hard quit

Being a developer in 2026 sucks.
AI can vibe-code any app, and the value of your skills depreciates.
But there is one niche where your tech skills are your advantage.
Tomorrow we'll break down how you can build a niche API to $10K/m using 3 channels.
Comment "API" to get it.
Elitza is one of the most passionate people I know.
She has been working hard on her product for years and still puts so much effort into every tiny detail.
If that doesn't deserve a product of the day, I don't know what does.
If you have a second, please upvote her 🙏
I just launched own․page on Product Hunt 🚀
It’s my first ever launch there, and I’d really appreciate your support!
If you could check it out and give feedback it would mean the world to me.
I’ve poured my heart into own․page and devoted so much time to building it, so I’d love to get it in front of as many people as possible.
Thank you so much 💜
Cooking a new breakdown for Marketing OS this morning.
This story is insane, 2 guys went from 0 to $1K MRR in 8 days using LinkedIn.
You’ll want to start using LinkedIn after reading it 😅
That's why I like challenges!
They make people commit, and achieve things they want to achieve!
Francesco is about to win our monthly Content Copilot challenge prize if he commits for 8 more days!
I don't know which of these two reasons makes me like Content Copilot (#30DayVideo) more:
1. Consistency
Under the pretext of not breaking my streak, it's making me upload a video every day.
2. Sleeping schedule?!?
The timer that resets every 24 hours is (was) set for 8 a.m.! After months of waking up late, I've finally gotten back on a decent schedule, haha I’m not an 🦉 anymore.
Now, I uploaded the second video today, few minutes ago. The reset time is now at 17pm 😅 No more wake-up-before-8am(?)
Anyway thanks to @andrewzacker & @FlorinPop17 because this made me experience firsthand the power that a small, colorful badge can have on the mind. Will use this concept in my products!
This is why we are building Marketing OS.
It's easy to launch a SaaS when you have a huge audience or a budget.
But what should you do if you have neither?
When @tibo_maker started, his posts were getting 8 likes, yet he grew his SaaS to $30K MRR, here's how: themarketingos.io/p/how-tibo…
Tibo had no audience, no money and failed 10 times in a row…
But then he found a marketing strategy that grew his 11th startup to over $30k MRR in 6 months.
Here’s the exact marketing playbook:
