This is absolute nonsense from the UK press regulator.
If someone regards a trans woman as "a man who claims to be a woman" should they be allowed to say so?
As editor of The Spectator, I published Gareth Roberts making this point. IPSO, the press regulator, has censured The Spectator for doing so.
Its ruling is outrageous and Michael Gove's defence of Roberts underlines that the magazine will not be cowed under his editorship.
