Haha the lads bounced straight back up because he knows it’s a perfectly good tackle yet the refs are clueless
Game is so unbelievably gone

Superb by Rodgers, love the jump up and roll to disguise the bad tackle. Worked wonders.
Not even a second yellow. That's a straight red. He's checked his leg to make flush stud contact with the knee.

Over to you @premierleague prove us wrong
The UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has said he would be “really concerned” to lose Manchester City’s Emirati owners from the Premier League. “They’ve been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester and obviously the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is.” More from @AdamCrafton_ ⬇️ bit.ly/4dN8yG9

Almost laughable that Everton’s bench that day was João Virgínia (GK) Nathan Patterson Michael Keane Amadou Onana Beto Seamus Coleman Youssef Chermiti Mackenzie Hunt Lewis Dobbin And the Blues were the ones suffering a points deduction
Not a bad bench for @ManCity, is it? 😉 How long will Pep Guardiola wait before calling for reinforcements? #MCIEVE

About as standard a goal off a corner you’ll ever see. What is the purpose of VAR ? To hunt down some technicality in the rule book that would have no bearing to the outcome anyway ?
What a f-ing disgraceful ref decision.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS goal from Leicester City's Abdul Fatawu Puts the ball through a players legs and then lobs the keeper from his own half! 🤯 @LCFC | @EFL

As with any fixture, the Sporting Events Act 1985 is in place, which means entering or attempting to enter a ground while intoxicated is strictly prohibited. A Section 35 dispersal order will also be in place, allowing officers to remove anyone causing disorder. It will cover this area.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles, 3rd player of the day to play at RB. Forced due to injury. Best results from last season Bournemouth & Forest away both related to forced changes 👀

Replying to @BarclaysUKHelp
@BarclaysUKHelp I am in absolute shock at the way call centre the team have handled my wife's desperate plea for help. My wife is lying in a hospital bed in Dubai. She needs access to her Barclays Bank account which is blocked to pay for cancer care.

Different rules apply off the pitch as well as on the pitch for the “elite”
The vast difference in total cost of very different “rule breaking” for 2 Premier League clubs: 💰 — 🔵⚪️ EVERTON narrowly overspending on PSR due to interest payments on a new stadium at the end of the 2021/22 season: - Loss of league position prize money = £27m - Compensation to Burnley = £40m - Legal and administrative costs defending multiple cases, appeals and the Burnley tribunal = £17m (Not to mention damage to brand, damage to squad mentality, damage to prospect of potential new signings & attracting potential managers & new ownership, damage to sponsors and massive reduction in broadcasting and commercial income) TOTAL COST: £84m 💰 — ⚪️🔵 Chelsea blatantly cheating for 7 straight years with 74 for charges for funnelling £47.5m in 36 secret, off the books payments (via shady third parties and offshore entities) to unregistered agents & player reps from 2011-2018 to grease deals for stars like Hazard, Willian, Eto’o, Ramires, David Luiz, Schürrle and Matic in order to win: ▪️ 2012 UEFA Champions League ▪️ 2012 FA Cup ▪️ 2013 UEFA Europe League ▪️ 2015 Premier League ▪️ 2015 League Cup ▪️ 2017 Premier League ▪️ 2018 FA Cup TOTAL COST: £10.75m 💰 — CHELSEA escaped with a mere £10.75m fine for systematically concealing backhanded payments over seven years to rig transfers and gain real sporting advantage by winning 7 trophies during their 7 year period of dodgy deals. This grotesque disparity, punishing the likes of Everton who could have - and arguably should have - been relegated with the harsh points deductions issued, while slapping the wrist of the profligate powerful, exposes football’s rotten core.. rules enforced not by justice, but by current club size, influence and the Premier League’s embarrassingly obvious selective blindness. It’s even more laughable when you consider the three panel members who decided to issue this ground breaking never been done before compensation claim to Burnley from Everton.. were somehow the same three panel members who dished out the harshest points deduction in English top flight history to Everton for the very same reason!? How on earth is that allowed? English football, rotten to the core!

So Chelsea secretly pay out £47.5m in brown envelopes to players & agents for 7 years helping them sign players like Hazard and gain sporting advantage while winning multiple trophies.. PUNISHMENT: £10m fine —— Everton meanwhile, slightly breach PSR, overspending by £19.5m over the allowable £105m limit in one period, largely linked to stadium investment & COVID impacts. PUNISHMENT: 10 point deduction followed by a another 2 point deduction both which directly affected their league position and prize money whilst risking being relegated from the Premier League.. AND now have to pay Burnley £40m for alleged lost earnings due to Everton’s “unfair advantage!?” —— One club hid tens of millions in shady payments for years and got a slap on the wrist. The other got hammered with points lost, risked being relegated, costing millions in prize money for league placement and now have to pay compensation to clubs as well!? The disparity in severity, sporting impact and deterrence makes the rules look ridiculous and unfair. “Big” clubs get no consequences for their actions, while Everton are the league’s whipping boy suffering multiple existential hits. Why are Everton treated so differently to every other club in the league!?
Burnley are set to win their legal case against Everton against PSR breaches. Everton are set to pay Burnley circa £40m in damages, the toffees are expected to appeal 🔵
