That’s what Conservatives do. They privatize healthcare. Because they get rich that way. They can’t stand to see all those tax dollars going into public healthcare. They want your tax dollars and they absolutely will abuse it.

People forget. Stan Cho and his family own a golf course where the original Bradford By-Pass was going to be built. He "convinced" both Doug Ford and Carolyn Mulroney to divert the highway and save the family golf course. But nothing to see here.

The Ford government's crimes have been absolutely unimpeded for over eight years now.
They turned on the taps of the government coffers and let it flow into private pockets.
They have written and passed democracy-ending legislation, with no media coverage or opposition.

Economics is fundamentally political. We cannot escape this fact.
The so-called “free market” is constructed by laws, maintained by institutions, and enforced by states.
The choice between austerity and stimulus reflects deeper beliefs about responsibility, fairness, and social obligation.
The mandates of central banks are products of political decisions. The emphasis placed on price stability in Western central banks rather than, say, regulating private finance reflects value judgments as well as political lobbying.
One of the biggest differences between mainstream economics and heterodox economics is that the former often disguises political choices as technical ones.
Economics has never been, and never will be, a value-free science, no matter how much today's mainstream economics tries to present it that way.
At its core, economics is shaped by ideologies, human morality, competing interests, social norms, and political priorities. Pretending otherwise does not make economics more rigorous. It just makes it more dangerous.

More money for Con Black at the expense of roads, TTC, homeless shelters, police, parks, libraries ….
Why???

Gaming profits are dirty money. It's like cashing on people smoking. How's it sane policy to rob young men when they have zero chance of winning. Ontario's government is shameless. Government's first role is to protect the people not swindle from them. thestar.com/opinion/editoria…

This is great news for five star hotels, but terrible news for taxpayers. Doug Ford can’t help himself from wasting your money.

Make it make sense - 24 Registered Nurses (RNs) laid off from one unit at an Ontario hospital, with patients having to be relocated. The entire unit was shut down. We keep talking about nursing shortages, yet nurses are being laid off. Ontario continues to have the lowest RN to population ratio in all of Canada, yet nurses continue to be cut. What is going on?
October 26th is election day. Please vote. Your vote matters because not only is health care political, everything is.
