ann-ly

I got nothing wrong. I know this person, and there is a reason why this document was shared the way it was. I also know that this person spent more than three years compiling his own experience to synthesize and create this document—without being paid or asking for any funding—in order to help people who are just starting in this industry and working with him. This person has also helped launch many careers by giving countless beginners the opportunity to grow. He’s never been a gatekeeper. He has opened many doors to support people entering the industry, and he always did his best on the productions he worked on to defend and demonstrate the value of foreign beginner animators. Calling this person a gatekeeper while all you do is repost someone else’s document translated into English (whether with ChatGPT or not) is incredibly upsetting. Also, guys, please normalize the fact that no one owes you anything. If you want something, you’ll always have to dig, search, improve as both an artist and a person, and build genuine human relationships and connections, not wait for Twitter drama or free PDF resources that you probably won’t even open after downloading them.
